Oh hey random question for you guys about these sexy time popups - I know a lot of nutaku games show penetration but I made a conscious decision to leave that out of Crush Crush (since you can be a male or female player) but how do you feel about that for Hush Hush's sexy scenes? I guess Huniepop sort of followed a similar idea, but I'd just be curious to hear what's preferable. Does it risk ruining the character's atmosphere/innocence if you see a dong going in?  I'm debating whether I should go the extra mile to include 2 versions of the sexy scenes (for male players and female players) or make it easy and just not show anyone but the girl in the scene. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Honestly, maybe having different settings for the player to change would be best. Like, in Huniepop you could censor the nether regions or choose whether or not to have cum, and the pics were almost the same but just drawn over. Adding a dick to the settings I would think is a good idea.

(Responding without reading others' responses so I'm not biased by them.) Since context and perspective are so important: I was born male in the mid 70s. I am only sexually and romantically attracted to women (David Bowie doesn't count) and for as long as I can remember I've had a not-very-secret wish that I'd been born female, though I have no interest in transitioning. I even asked a babysitter of mine about it when I was around 5 or so. I find popular male sexuality to be a turn-off. It's not just boners or even limp dongs. I don't like pictures of men modeling underwear. I recognize that the male form in healthy condition is interesting as a biological marvel, I'm excited about all sorts of human medical progress, etc. After playing a lot of H games, and erotic visual novels, my favorites are games like Crush Crush, Huniepop, and Starlight Vega where it's either silly, I'm allowed to pretend I'm female, or the romance and story come first. Combinations of the three are better still. (I'm also a fan of HunieCam Studio, but entirely for the humor and gameplay.) I believe I am in the minority in this, and I understand when artists don't have the resources to satisfy every possible combination of preferences. I will not think any less of Sad Panda Studios if you include penetration in one of your games. I still play games like Sexy Beach Premium Resort, even though it fails all my criteria, but it would be so much better for me if it had lesbian arcs and the story were actually well written. (Seriously? The villain's crime is illegally trafficing exotic animals? Psh. Whatever.) You specifically asked if a hot dog in a taco ruines the taco plate's atmosphere or innocence. It's conceivable to me that this kind of scene could be framed and presented in such a way that I would consider the taco plate's character preserved and the scene potentially enjoyable. Of the options, I'd love if you did provide both versions, but if that's not possible I would prefer the single option which still preserves the illusion that I'm a character in a lesbian story. You've done so much with so little already that I am optimistic that you will knock the next one out of the park too. I hope my feedback is helpful. Feel free to contact me directly if you wish to ask me for clarification or have other questions.

Well, it's between gender neutral scenes or a choice of MxF or FxF scenes, so either way you'll get what you want I think :) Well, if you want story, you probably shouldn't be going for western eroge :P Granted, this one is one of the exceptions, but if it is story you want, just go for a proper visual novel instead.
