The name of Stolas father is PAIMON. He is like Asmodeus (and PRINCE Stolas) a KING and part of the Ars Goetia described in The Lesser Kay of Solomon (a group of 72 Royal Demons). Paimon (unlike Asmodeus) isn't part of the 7 Sins, but it is said that he is one of the most loyal to Lucifer.

It was a lot of people's headcanons that Stella was more a victim in the relationship before this episode. Her anger at Stolas casually cheated on her and destroying their family being extreme, but arguably justified, and leaving her open to be explored as perhaps a more interesting multifaceted character. Stolas would also be more morally grey. There were also fans disappointed at Stolas being more akin to Blitz in age rather than a truly ancient, fathomless being. I don't think the decisions made here "ruined" the characters by any means, but it would be interesting to see how those interpretations could have gone. TLDR: Every fandom has it's cringe and this won't be the last time I say that.

Also, in case it wasn't obvious, the voice of Stolas' shitty father Paimon is the same guy, Jonathan Freeman, who did the voice of Jafar in Disney's Aladdin! And he also voiced Blitzo's shitty father, Cash Buckzo! So basically he seems to specialize in playing shitty people with unusual accents?
