I think for Xing-Ke, the Empress is like his Nunnally, someone to protect at all costs, and if the situation were reversed I think Lelouch would act very similarly. Xing-Ke doesn't want to let Zero take the Empress because he doesn't trust Zero to not use her for his own purposes, which to be fair is EXACTLY what Zero wants to do lol; even if she is physically safe, this is no better than her being married off, physically safer than pretty much anybody but not where she wants to be. Is Zero's plan preferable to the Eunuchs plan, for us and the characters we like, yes, but to Xing-Ke, he has no guarantees and no power to make sure Zero can't just use her, which if taken at face value, is all he wants to avoid. The Empress being sold or the Empress being stolen are both essentially just as bad, and as he was arrested for the coup he takes the one path open, which is fighting Zero and taking her back. I'm not sure if the Empress is happy with our plan either, she's clearly distraught, even if Kaguya is keeping her assured, but she's still a kid so it's hard to tell what she wants in general lmao. Xing is mostly like a loyal hound, unless the Empress is safe behind him nothing else matters, he is smart but her safety cloud his judgment. Also what happened to Kallen made us be very afraid

I will say the last couple of episodes in season 2 have always been better dubbed to me objectively, however, I prefer the show over all dubbed it's one of the few, that have a really good one, though it's not a must watch-like "Black Lagoon" That show Is a must watch dubbed lol

I could be mistaken, but I am 99% sure that Nina is 19 years old. And if I am wrong then she is 18. Of everyone at Ashford Academy that didn't leave for the homeland after season 1, I think they made mention that the reason Milly hasn't graduated yet is because of her repeating a year due to the Black Rebellion, this would lead me to believe that Nina either did graduate, or she is doing something parallel to her schooling with Earl Lloyd instead. I don't think it is explicitly said, but that was I understood to be the case.

Also, I think it's interesting that Rahkshata mentioned the "Maharaja" when she cursed that India gave a knighmare to China. A Maharaja was a title referred to a prince under the British rule in India. I remember there was a long strain of dialog from the show The West Wing, where one Lord John Marbury explained the term, but I don't remember it precisely. Short version was that the crown would essentially "buy" local rulers and make them Maharajas in exchange for their support. I don't know if that was how Code Geass intends the term, but given the Britannia/UK/America parallels, I thought it was an interesting factoid.
