Euphy was an exception because she was that much of a good person. However soldiers and killers have a more weaker perspective of life so taking their own isnt too much of a problem for them.

It's hard for me to say which hurt more for me, Euphy's death or Shirley's memory wipe. I have no doubt it would be different for everyone, but I think I cried more with what Lelouch did to Shirley. I think the tragedy of Euphy was just numbing and shocking that I didn't process it. Similar to Cornelia. And Nivi brought up a good point: the cruelty she showed Japan after Clovis's death... Cornelia adored Euphy... At this moment, she believes this country has killed four of her siblings. We don't know how close she is with the rest of the family, but the four she believes to be dead are the only ones she ever mentioned spending time with in any childhood memories. It could be that it is simply because they are all relatively close in age. I think Schniezel is older, and the second oldest son since they gave him the title "second prince" and Cornelia the title "second princess" Anyway. Rest in peace, Euphemia. Taken from us too soon, and with your goodness stained in the eyes and memory of the world. Although naïve in some respects you wanted the best for people, even those who sided themselves against you. I'm looking forward to the next two episodes that bring this first season to it's finale.
