So fun fact Lancelot and Gawain where names from knights of the round table from the Legends of King Arthur. In the legend these 2 knights will build a bitter rivalry that caused major consequences.

Cashew, I get your reasoning, but no military worth their salt would put a tracking device on their machines. If its a signal that can be seen, then it can be seen by both parties.

Kamine Island. This certain has one of the bigger lore reveals regarding CC since the shock images she gave to Suzaku at Narita. And this time it was just a passing comment from General Bartley (we haven't seen him in quite a while now, have we?) where he just speculates openly to his lord and savior Prince Schneizel, that it is possible that the real reason Britannia has been invading countries around the globe in order to acquire these strange occult artifacts. There are so many implications that spew forth if this speculation is the truth. Firstly being, who is the decision maker in this policy for Britannia? Well, it would obviously be the Emperor himself, and/or his direct agents. Possibly something so secret and terrible that not even high ranking generals or other members of the royal family would know anything about the reasons for it. Perhaps this lack of knowledge is also why Clovis was doing experiments on CC? Before he ordered the sterilization and eradication of the Shinjuku ghetto waaaaaay back in EPISODE ONE, Clovis said to General Bartley that he would be disinherited if word of what he was doing with CC ever made it back to the homeland. So clearly something terrible is afoot. But also that the royal family is engaging in some masked inner conflict as well; hidden from both their own citizens, but the rest of the world as well.

I'll add too, since I just though of it. We rarely see the Emperor, and the little do we are short 10 second interactions with random unknown people, and we do not know any context to what he is saying... But the last time we saw a scene with him at this point of the show, didn't the Emperor say something along the lines of: "Fine, if Schneizel thinks he's got what it takes, then let him challenge me." ...or something like that? What does any of it mean? I don't think we've been told enough to say. But I think there could be merit to the General's hypothesis, and the implications such a thing could mean for our characters.

That is so true! That's just so wild to me though! When I see those scenes of them standing around a table with the red dots representing their units- I just assumed they were all tracked! 😂

BatCatChannel

Ohhh cool! I was aware of the name connection but knew nothing about the actual background! 🤯

We're a couple episodes ahead in recording so it's hard to reply to specific points but I wanted to say we really appreciate these comments! It helps narrow our thoughts a lot 🥰 It really can't be overstated how often we are shocked by the depth of this show 😂 I very much understand now why everyone was calling it a masterpiece when it was airing!

Kristopher

Thanks for the response! I know you are a few episode a head of your releases, and there are several comments, gifs, clips, and memes, or even just notes and trivia that I am sure myself and others are just itching to be able to share.

Gawain is known for being a dishonorable knight while Lancelot is known for being the perfect, ultimate knight, until his betrayal of King Arthur brings about the civil war that destroys Camelot.
