Trying a quick-ish animation because the monthly had me caught up working on the same thing for a while and I was itching to try some new stuff.

These tech notes below are more relevant than usual if you want to take a look (feel free to ignore 😉)

ANIMATED WIP ATTACHED BELOW...

**Tech Notes**

Alright, so like I mentioned this is a very relevant one because this animation is to test quite a bit of stuff that's been on my mind so I'll bullet point the relevant stuff. Physics actually inspired this animation and pose so that is the first point.

Physics (Finally back at it)

Alright my 20 thousandth try at physics (some exaggeration) and I've learned some more about the bugs and issues I've had and it's looking much better. Alot of the issues I've had with physics are bugs and they lack of control around the physics so when I run into some small issue or glitch there was nothing I could do other than get rid of it. The last issue was how do I make it loop? Without going into specifics I may have fixes for all of those and it's looking pretty decent for this animation so far. Lots of times it works for one animation but not the next, so we will see as time goes.

Style/Lighting (What is my identity?)

This has been on my mind for a bit. When I make an animation, fix it up and present it... Can you tell that I made it? Alot of animators, when they release a work it has their own personal look that lets you know exactly who probably made it. I'm not sure if I have that look. I'm constantly changing and trying to improve but at the same time. I don't have a look. I feel this will heavily rely on lighting style and I have a look that I think I like. I might experiment more with looks but what I'm thinking to try is dark settings with a focus on eyes/face. I have something already set up for this one.

Animation and Movements (Not satisfied)

I've been recently engaged with other creators and it's been a great experience for many reasons but it's had me realizing how much better I could be. So, I'm going to analyze what I think is better about theirs and try to improve mine accordingly. A really big positive of this is that I believe I have the skills to reach greater movements, it's just that I'm not mentally realizing how much better I can make it. To achieve this I'm going to look to improve my animation layering. Also, I just realized I've been not really using 'Scale' when animating which I'm realizing is missed potential. (Scale is just what is used to increase or decrease the size of the body parts).
