What is best style for WIPs? (Patreon)

Do you guys prefer the textured version of the WIPs? or the older ones I do where it just shows a plain color instead of textures? (see below for image comparison)

Why does this matter? 

I have no problem with showing either. However, the reason I used to show the no texture version was to keep the final animation fresh. I don't want to reveal too much and then the final version isn't too special anymore. I always leave off other stuff like the lighting and obviously the animation isn't fully complete either. I'll take some of this input for future WIPs
