The method is similar to my classic way of painting space marines but with little and controlled volume lighting. After the ink process with dark turquoise ink come back with the black ink aiming to the shadows for kill the ink color in the dark areas.

This last black ink step is very important

After that the 2nd key is the little shine dots in the corners.

About the ink: i select dark turquise, but i can be switch by dark blue, violet, etc.

In the next days i will upload the video.

El método es similar a mi método clásico de pintar marines espaciales, pero con poca iluminación volumetrica y después del proceso de tinta, hay que volver con la tinta negra apuntando a las sombras para matar el color de la tinta en las áreas oscuras.

Este paso de la tinta negra es muy importante.

Después de eso, la segunda tecla son los pequeños puntos brillantes en las esquinas.

Sobre la tinta: entiendo que se puede sustituir por algun azul, violeta, etc.

Thanks for sharing! Did you use the AK colors for the edge highlighting as well? I the tutorial covers the inks but I am unclear if the AKs were used.

Have you experimented with a dark green base w/white volumetric lighting and then using templar black as a tint all over? just wondering if I should try that out as well for black armor. I'm a bit worried i won't be able to control black ink overspray following your scheme

Sorry, i didnt see the comment. You can do the edge before or after the ink step. The important thing is the corner dots

The problem of the black inks is that they are not transparent. And you will lost the volumetric light fast
