Personal Update (Patreon)

Hello friends.

Some of you may have already seen on Twitter, but I’m afraid life has interceded in an unfortunate way. My mother had a stroke this week, and with other underlying issues, I’m afraid she’s not going to make it. (Feel free to read this journal if you’d like a fuller account.) Currently I’m with my family in Kansas City, all of us spending time with her in hospice until she’s gone. We were very close, and I’m honestly kinda devastated.

Had all this happened a couple days earlier, I probably would have paused my campaign for the month; but July pledges have already been processed. So, my plan for now is to see how quickly I‘ll be able to recover and get back to work. If I can catch up in the later part of this month, awesome; if not, I’ll pause the campaign in August but work through that month instead to make up for the gap.

Thank you all again for your support, and I hope you’ll bear with me during this time. I had plans for Patreon this summer and I hope I’ll be able to dive back into them as soon as I can. In the meantime, please take care, and make sure to tell your loved ones you care for them.
