honestly bones is very awkward with the supernatural stuff. It refuses to lean hard enough into it to make it feel immersion-worthy but are way too hesitant to drive into the meat of making it work. I always felt like the super natural moments makes me cringe even while I totally get what they were trying to do but they always miss the mark.

Simply.Beyond

This has actually always been one of my fav episodes and the supernatural stuff, I knew you wouldn’t like it, at least not for this show. But, I’ve always liked it. Bones has its own world rules and it includes a hint of supernatural 🤷🏻‍♀️ Avalon is also one of my fav characters, so I’m kind of sad you dislike her SO much, but to each there own .
