I feel like the writers drop the ball big time with Dark One story line. It’s as if they realized they made a mistake midway by turning the Savior dark. Then they changed their minds and said ‘no let’s turn Hook dark instead’. I just think it would have made more sense to keep Emma as the Dark one a bit longer.

I cold heartedly agree, this could have been big, it started out awesome but then fizzled cause the writers didn't plan an escape option for Emma getting freed of the darkness. Especially when they realized that having her be the savior dark one made her OP. So they went with the hook thing which was weak seeing as Emma took weeks and didn't fully turn Dark till Hook died. But the second Hook get's his memory he goes evil and turns on emma???? It made no damn sense.
