Not my favorite episode either. I agree with what you said, but some of your commentary was interesting. That's all I'll say.

Leaving another comment for the actual episode. One of the things you have to realize is that this is an older show, so it does suffer from a lot of the older procedural random episodes. Flashbacks, dream episodes, musicals, I’m not sure why they used to love doing that besides creating filler episodes. Now, for me, this episode, actually does have a lot of relevance. But it’s deeper than people want to see. The episode isn’t the typical DREAM episode. It’s not something that Booth was making up. This was a book that Bones was writing and reading to him and he was basically living it in his head. It’s a book about an alternate reality staring her and Booth as a married couple. I always felt that the “dream” said more about her, than anything else. It’s not like she ever thought Booth was actually listening. She keeps thinks so close to the chest, that she lets this version of herself have things that she can’t admit she wants. One other thing, a lot of people feel this episode probably would have played better as the 1st episode of season 5, which I agree in some aspects. But, I guess we’ll have to wait and see what your opinion is, once you start season 5.

I don't believe this would qualify for a Top 10. There are 6 regulars then randoms and even then the top two will always be the same because the show is focused on them two. Most likely wont be doing a top 10.

maybe you could do a favorite intern list? or possibly rate the episode theme with the intern? Bones likes to make a connection to whatever social aspect they are commenting on with the intern now that the rotating intern thing is established, so you could do something with that?

I absolutely agree with everything you said. I really dont like this episode and never rewatched it when I used to rewatch this show.
