I love the idea of a new Black Canary. Because they don't replace Laurel they are just carrying out her legacy. So that is one of the biggest reasons I like it.

for me I don't really like how they introduced a new black Canary to continue what laurel stood for. But I like what they do with her story down the line and I loved the interaction and call back to Central City with Barry telling Sing that he's legit thought that was funny. Liked how they included the bad guy having powers as well because it makes sense he was in central as well and got hit from the particle accelerator. Overall, to me she's a character that I grew to love in the end... she's just rough around the edges at the moment and a bit prickily.
