There have been a lot of progress actually with cancer. A lot of cancers have treatments now, with very high probability of healing. But every cancer is different and grow in a different way, some of them are really agressive and they can't quite figure out a cure yet. But there is progress, you can't deny it. It's really hard to kill cancer cells without killing the healthy ones, mostly because cancer cells are actually stronger, develop faster and don't have an expiration date like normal cells. This disease is a freaking poison created by your own body.

Yeah, trying to fix damaged cells without hurting healthy ones is way harder than advancing technology. You can afford to make mistakes with electronics, you can’t do that with the human body without causing some kind of risk.
