I think the major revelations by Dean's fear get overlooked in this episode. He spent 40 years in Hell and remembers it all, but he is lying to Sam about it. Also he is terrified of what is going on with Sam and how his powers might be a slippery slope. You are right that they need to be honest with each other and work together.

Fun episode, some revelations about Dean's time in Hell. Good reaction, I love that this show gives a lot to fans, I mean this little blooper at the end, and the usual bloopers of every seasons last almost 10 min each, so it give a lot of insight.
