I always think, "This family will have a small cute little backyard garden"... then I move them to a bigger lot because they get obsessive and the garden just grows and grows lol. I love it though.

As many as I think makes sense for the family lol. My current Italian vineyard legacy save has ... a lot. The spares who move out may not have any at all just for the sake of my sanity!
