Quick Poll! (Patreon)

This will be a fast poll because I want to release Canning this weekend but I just thought of something that I'm fairly confident I can do to make the canning recipes base game compatible. There's no guarantee, but if I can make it work it would mean that your sim would not be able to eat the canned item out of the jar. 

If I do it that way I would still likely make some canned items, like canned soup or veggies, edible and require Cottage Living. This will leave plenty of other recipes available for base game to max out your skill level.
