What do you all think, metal lid or cloth lid?

I personally like both and my builds would use cloth for farmlike builds and metal for other builds in deco respects.

i think that depending on what's being canned the lid can change. like if the contents are usually shelf stable then cloth but if would belong in the refrigerator then metal. or the gifting idea that has been said, if it's possible.
