This post is meant to be used as a quick reference to find information that you might find useful. Each item has a link to a post where you can find more detailed information about it.

Most questions can be answered at the links below. Please read and follow the info from those links BEFORE you post a question or send me a message.

NOTE: The files in the download folders are updated before the 'New Content Updates' post goes live so they are always up-to-date. Also, these folders do not contain Early Access content. If the file is attached to the post here on Patreon then you can assume that it hasn't been uploaded to the folders yet.

Required File Hierarchy for my Content

I get a lot of questions about which files are required for my content so I thought I'd throw together an infographic showing what files are generally required for what types of content I create.

The content groupings correspond to the different pages on my site as well as sub-folders in the Downloads Folder, and the arrows point to the file required in order to use that content.

This is meant to give you an idea of how things are organized. Some downloads may have different/additional requirements so please check the 'Required' section of each download page to see what's specifically required for each download.

Why is it organized this way?

This keeps my content modular so you only download what you want to use. It keeps you from installing files you don't need and it reduces overall file size. I also have them organized this way to keep updates easier and more manageable for everyone.

Update: Nevermind? I went back to look again and it seems they needed to load or something. Most of the folders are empty when I click on them. Am I missing something?

Yes, I think the server may be having issues loading stuff when there's a lot of traffic.

when downloading the patreon download folder today kept getting unable to load error due to corrupt or missing files

Please follow the instructions in the 'How do I install it?' section of the 'Downloads Folder' link above. If that doesn't work then follow the instructions in the 'Troubleshooting Issues...' link above.

How often is the patreon download link updated to ensure that I have the latest of everything?

Do you generally update the patreon link to include new recipes?

No, because new recipes are Pink Lotus tier but the Dpwnloads Folder is White Lotus tier. Once I've removed the links the posts on Patreon and updated the download pages they are added to the Downloads folder.

I'm trying to download all your content as quickly as possible, and I saw this download folder and wanted to double check, is it completely up to date with all the newest updates at the moment? IS there anything excluded from it that I would need to download separately? Thanks

Hello and welcome! It's up-to-date but it doesn't contain any Early Access content. Basically if the file is attached to the post here on Patreon it hasn't been uploaded to the folders yet. The content already in the folders is always updated before the 'New Content Updates' post goes live.

Yes, for now. I'll be uploading more stuff later today that won't be in the folders either. This is because the folder is available to all tiers but the content is only Pink Lotus and above.

I see. And the new content that isn't currently available to the public (and also not added into the folder) listed as "unlocked" on each post? That would be the way to know it's new, locked-to-the-public content that I need to add? Sorry for being so ignorant on how all this works

Hey! New subscriber here (well, pretty new). I've also subbed to your youtube channel and I've been eyeing your mods for quite a while but haven't been ready to get started. I'm wondering if you'd consider doing a youtube video explaining the gameplay of your homesteading mods in particular. I'm so excited to dig into this but it's a bit overwhelming!

Yay! I'm not sure what should go first but I'm starting with foraging/harvestables. Whatever you think makes the most sense to go first in terms of your gameplay :D

Actually, now that you mention it, a quick youtube tutorial on installing it would be great, since it seems more complicated than a standard mod install (though perhaps it's just complicated to me 😂). I tried to install the core stuff and harvestables/gatherables and it's throwing last exceptions at me so I've certainly done something wrong lol.

Sounds like a good place to start! You may be getting LE's because some of the harvestable files need updating but you should be able to just ignore those unless it's causing a specific issue in-game.

Your homesteading mods make cottage living feel so alive. I've wanted farm animals since the game released and I am just so grateful that you have worked so hard to make these amazing mods that allow me to do so much with my animal products, farming and foraging.
