Last month I set up the structure I want to use for any future drink recipes. There'll be some updates to the Halloween drinks soon that will allow you to make them individually from the bar as well as use them with the drink trays. This also sets up the new Teapot that will part of the next set!

Current Project: Afternoon Tea Set

This set is inspired by the British Countryside and Cottage Living, I've posted some inspiration pics above. I know a teapot was requested a while back and I've been trying to find the best way to easily incorporate one with the way all my other mods/recipes work. I've settled for a drink tray version for now but I'm still looking into creating a group version of it for later.

Quick List of Planned Items

  • Teapot
  • Tea Fermenting Crafting and Objects
  • Drink Recipes - common British & Irish Teas
  • Food Recipes - Tea Sandwiches, Scones, and Sweets
  • Harvestables - Cucumber for sure!
  • Canning Recipes - likely jams for Scones
  • Milling Recipes - all types of teas needed for teapot recipes; will package into a tin with a teabag measured serving
  • Tea-time Food Display - like the cake stands I made, to display recipes
  • Dinnerware and/or Place Settings - will match teapot patterns

Any tea drink recipes for the teapot will use ingredients, the tea ingredient itself will be able to be created from the mill. Tea will have a special fermenting process before you are able to mill it into a usable ingredient for teapot recipes. Food and drink recipes for this set will be things like scones, tea sandwiches, tea-time sweets, and any British and Irish style teas. A Brainstorming Discussion will be posted following this so keep an eye out if you'd like to request any special recipes!

I've decided to go with traditional style teacups for the tea drinks but I'm going to keep them white so they match with every teapot pattern. Because of that, I thought it was important to see the teapot patterns somewhere else at the table and decided to make some dinnerware deco items that you can fill your table out with. I'll also be adding those patterns to the multi-tiered food display and I'd like to add some options to the 'Set Table' option from Parenthood with the same patterns if it's not too time-consuming.

This project may go partially into next month because it's a bit bigger than what I usually do. Items will still be available for download individually when they are ready for testing. If this project does go into next month then I'm going top it off with the pie recipes we planned out and some livestock recolors!

Other Projects:

The only other thing I'll be working on alongside of the Afternoon Tea set is separated beds. I'll be archiving the originals and making new versions because it's more time-intensive to fix the old versions to work with bunk beds and such. Frames should still be okay so I won't be re-making those unless I need to. I'll likely work backward and start with the most recent ones that I haven't separated yet.

I have some other stuff I have finished but haven't had a chance to upload that you may see randomly pop up in-between as well.

Current Status:

I'll be posting some minor updates to files today as well as some public and Pre-Release content. Sorry for the delay there's been some major housekeeping I needed to do via the site and the downloads folder that needed my attention first.

Oh tea related recipes and gameplay is great! It would be a nice addition to the game. And will fit perfectly with the cottage living gameplay. It could also be great for the spas/wellness, as it could be relaxing. Will some teas have some effects? Like on the Sims emotions, moodlets, etc

BrazenLotus

Maybe, tbh moodlet descriptions are not my strong suit so they take me longer to make but if I can come up with something and have enough time I will look at adding that 😁

That's not easy yes ^^, have ideas for every moodlets ^^. But anyway a mod to make our own teas, out of haverstables that we can grow ourselves, it's really great! It something I wanted really bad for cottage living

Omg! That's why you are my favourite CC creator. Your ideas are just brilliant.
