I tried to post this last night but Patreon was being dumb and wouldn't load lol. The farmhouse you see above is what I'm going to be aiming for on the 50x50 Oakenstead lot. The main part of this home will be the garden which I really want to feel like a farm. Objects I'll be making for this lot will likely be of the garden clutter variety but who knows where I'll go with it lol.

The other lot in this neighborhood, the 40x30 Cypress terrace lot is where I want to put the plantation style home I was talking about. You can see the inspiration along with what I threw together the last couple of days here:

I really like the Oakmoss trees but I have a feeling I'm going to need to make a version at like half the size. I'm not sure what I'm going to need for this lot until I get building/decorating inside. I definitely want some hanging ceiling planters in a couple of heights for the front porches on both of these so I'm thinking I may do those. I'm also going to to make the plants that slot into them from the outside plants so they change with the season!

Any comments/suggestions feel free to leave them below!

I do like the direction you plan to go in. As for suggestions possibly anything that includes iron work. Like those window grills from the SV windows. Additionally I know we have a lot of classy items in the Sims already, but when making an older Manson I feel all the objects look too new. Maybe some gently worn/used recolors of some objects. For an example of the style I mean, look at your Jaipur rugs. While not grungy, they don’t exactly look new either. I hope this helps!

This looks beautiful. Is there any way to change the terrain paint so it will match the sidewalk/drive (I'll need to take a look at that lot to see if it's one I'm thinking looks silly because it doesn't match from end of lot to beginning of where we cannot build. Also, if you haven't built in the backyard, it has some odd terrain. Happy we can flatten it now!

I'll take a look at the sidewalk thing. And you're right, that lot used to act strange I'll be sure to flatten before I start building!!!

I was thinking the same thing about those new windows. Maybe I can recolor and center them...and I think you're right about things looking too new. The only issue with that would be that I would need a lot of recolors for it to be consistent, especially with a house that big. Let me decorate first and see what I'm working with and then if I can make it work by recoloring a few key items I'll definitely do that. :)
