Last minute workout / update (Patreon)

Pride month approaches, Chonky here is just getting ready!

Hey guys, 

apologies for the quiet month, things have been a bit crazy around here. Some of it self inflicted, some of it entirely out of my hands. I took a short trip abroad, updated my primary work software and acquired a new videocard. Rather than two GTX1080 cards I am now the grateful owner of a fabulous preowned RTX3090. A much needed upgrade that'll speed up my work by *a lot*.

Ironic then that I would have to apologize for not having much to show for this month, but next to the distractions caused by the aforementioned I am once again plagued by technical issues. The software upgrade I mentioned solved some, then introduced another, critical problem. To make a long story short, I lost the ability to have objects "collide" with each-other. That means when a character steps on, pushes against or lays on something, I can no longer automatically have their feet, bellies and bodies in general go "squish" anymore. Considering the nature of my work, that's a big problem. 

I have a solution, which means learning how to use Houdini, another piece of software that not only does a much better job but offers options I didn't have before. That said, it'll take time and I will work with the tools that I have until then, its just taking longer. In the mean time, please enjoy the secondary renders which I dub "Full moon in the moonlight".
