Deep Drake release - News Update! (Patreon)

Hey guys! Remember when I said I was going to create a short, small animation to tide us all over until the release of Down the Hatch? I have to be honest, this animation might have gotten away from me! As a concept it had two loops and one transition in between. Now it has five loops, four transitions and a.. Well, why tell when I can show?

I am very happy with the way this turned out, even if it does carry some inevitable blemishes from being borne of a simple concept that grew into a fully-fledged animation. I very much appreciate being able to work with Taurinfox on the fluid simulation, where he did the heavy lifting and explained the process along the way so that I may replicate his efforts in the future.  

On the flip side this animation was never meant to be this long or take up so much time. I must apologize, this is something that has happened before and it is something I will not let happen again. Either way I hope you enjoy the end result of this little exercise in feature creep! 

Down the Hatch 

What remains to be done for Down the hatch can be compiled on a short list. I am confident that I will be able to complete it within the next month. At my most optimistic I think I could have her complete within 2 weeks barring anything unexpected happening. Generally speaking something unexpected DOES happen but I like to stay positive! Someone will be working on an audio track for Down the Hatch that will be released sometime after the animation itself is complete and posted depending on their availability.

Furthermore 

The “state of the patreon” I alluded to earlier will be posted before the release of Down the hatch. It’ll be quite a hefty update where I'll cover new goals, long term projects and tier rewards among other things. What I can share is that I’ll be moving at the end of the year! You guys shouldn’t notice much if anything different, but it might be possible that I'll be out of contact for a week or more. I’ll let y’all know if anything comes up!
