I'm back / plans moving forward (Patreon)

I'm back from my short break visiting with family. During the week break I have done some thinking about how I usually go about work. I usually just throw myself in front of a computer screen and wait until an idea comes to me. If it doesn't come to me quickly, I start getting distracted by Twitter and YouTube.

So the first thing I'm going to work on is sketching in a sketchbook far more often. If I sketch out tons of ideas first, then I can come to the computer and render them all nice and clean. The $2 support tab will now have sketchbook doodles that will most likely not be published to the public, as well as the WIPs of digital artwork and animations I already post. This will also aid in my attempt to stray away from wasting time on the internet, as I will not be allowed access to the computer until I have enough ideas in a sketchbook to begin digital work.

The second thing that I am going to work on is starting up a comic series. I have been working on a story over the week and am preparing to start work on it. It will be a relatively simple comic starting off, like a newspaper comic strip. It will be about mice in a fantasy setting. Like Mouseguard or Redwall, but leaning much more toward mythical and magical fantasy themes, introducing many strange and tiny mythological creatures. I am hoping to update this comic three times a week. It will be available for $5 supporters.
