Of all of Poe’s wild adventures: posing as a masculine woodsman only to have his masculine wood sawed relentlessly by a sexy female lumberjack, exploring his manifest destiny as a rootin’ tootin’ wild west sheriff only to have the Twinkle Toe Bandits dance their piggies up and down his fully-loaded six-shooter, and of course the time that he wound up a blind date with a tickle obsessed vixen only to find out that going all the way would end in absolute hysteria…none might be as fondly remembered by me more than his pirate adventure.
