Hello there everyone!

For a while now, I've been actively wanting to do a series again for Patreon but hadn't been able to decide on anything that I felt was deserving of a multi-part series... until now!

Back in my first year of writing on Tumblr, I started a series entitled Helping Out A Friend that involved a nerdy college freshman swapping bodies with a hunky frat bro senior in order to help him pass his final semester of college. If you're interested in reading, here's the link to the original start of the series. I originally had a full series planned out, but my ambition was greater than my perceived writing talents so the series ended up being unfinished after the release of chapter three. My initial problem was that I wanted there to be a big climactic event at a fraternity party and the concept of handling party scenes and multiple characters interacting on top of dialogue was far too intimidating for me to even try at the time.

As a result, this series has always been something that has felt like a bit of a sore spot on my writing career. In the past few months during which I had been battling illness (both physical and mental) in the midst of finding a new job, I found myself reminiscing about my past work and the concept of potentially reviving the series in the form of a complete revamp came to mind.

In terms of the revamped prompt / idea, here's what I've got: After heading to college, nerdy freshman Curtis unexpectedly bumps into his former childhood friend and crush -- a hunky senior frat boy named Antonio. After reconnecting over the course of a few months and in need of both graduating college in addition to helping his nerdy younger friend gain a bit more confidence, Antonio then formulates a plan to make both of these dreams come true by having the duo trade bodies and lives for his final semester.

With the plotting of the series, my current idea is that it will be a third-person POV rather than the first-person POV I initially wrote in. In addition, each chapter would then follow a period of time after the initial swap (one day, one week, one month, two months, etc). The original idea I had was to just follow the perspective of Curtis becoming this hunky Latino frat boy and all of the twists and turns that it entails, but when thinking about a body swap like this, I also think it could be fun to follow Antonio's perspective of becoming this average lanky white nerd.

So, I now pose the question to y'all -- what would you like to see in this series?

If you're interested in exploring both POVs, I must warn that it will be a lengthy series that will most certainly take up a year plus of Himbo-tier slots starting in July as my current prediction with just the Curtis POV is ten chapters based on the outline I have so far. If patrons are willing to endure a lengthy series like that, I'm certainly not opposed but I certainly don't want to make such a hefty decision without gauging what all of my $10-15 patrons would like to see.

Anyways, thank you all for reading and I hope you guys are as excited about this new series as I am!
