Duet covers ready to download! (Patreon)

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all fine and healthy. I have finished the covers for the Duet 3 Mini 5+ board as and the Duet PanelDue 5" screen. You can find the files in the attachment of this post.

For the moment it is only available for the Patreons. All sort of feedback are very welcome!

Flobler - a member of the dev crew - is doing an excellent work on the configuration of the RepRapFirmware as well as all the documentation. We have taken special care to the ease of use and safety. Moving from Prusa firmware is going to be smooth and several details will look familiar. Unfortunately, we are not yet ready to publish it, we will keep you updated.

Features

• Compatible with Bear 2.1 frame
• Single screw to open and close the lid (from the left side of the frame)
• Mosfets and drivers are actively cooled from both side of the Duet board (finally a good use for the Noctua :P )
• Print time optimized as much as possible (the Duet board is a big one)
• Compatible with wired and wireless version
• Wifi antenna transmission not blocked by the frame and internal connector protected
• Easy access to all connectors
• LCD cable guide integrated to the supports
• No extra t-nuts or M5 screw needed
• No cooling airflow directed to the bed for maximized print quality and thermal stability

• 1x Duet 3 Mini 5+
• 1x Duet PanelDue 5"
• 9x M3x10 screws for the board clamps, the board lid and the LCD cover
• 3x M3x18 screws for the fan
• 4x M4x8 to attach the board (M4x10 also possible)
• 2x M5x8 to attach the board cover to the frame
• 2x M5x10 to attach the LCD cover to the frame
• 4x T-nuts for the LCD and board cover
• 5x M3 square nuts (DIN 562)

Print settings

• PETG (please think about recycled filament)
• 3 perimeters
• 15% infill
• 5 top/bottoms
• 0.2mm layer height
• 0.45mm layer width
• All other settings are similar to the Bear parts
