Ray threw Haunter's Pokeball. His already summoned Pokemon waited to see it. Charmeleon already knew who it was, so he was extra ready for this slippery foe.

With a blast of white, the Gas Pokemon manifested.

He was confused for a bit, but then he saw a bunch of different types of Pokemon just staring at him, waiting for it to do something bad!

"Hau?"

"Haunter, welcome to the team." The Junior Professor said with a smile. At the same time, he was annoyed that this ghost scared the shit out of him. He simply could not stop smiling because he got one of his favourite Pokemon evolutionary lines!

Gengar is simply a must-have for its array of moves and support.

As he was thinking about the uses for this Ghost/Poison type, the Pokemon in question could only sigh. It appears his joke ended up with him being caught. Oh well—

This situation might be even more interesting than he thought!

That moment, Haunter used one of his floating hands and gave him a thumbs up.

Seeing that the Ghost/Poison-type is not holding any sort of grudge made Ray sigh in relief as well.

Ghost-types holding a grudge is something one should never want or wish for. These beasts have some serious supernatural powers when it comes to curses and crap like that.

"Great! Then let's start with some training. After all, you will be fighting quite a bit."

Haunter grinned for a second when he heard that.

The reaction he got from this was a good one as well. He wants a fighter first and a prankster being secondary.

“Let's start. Charmeleon, you are up first!”

Ray motioned for his Starter to start the practice fight.

The Fire Pokemon walked to the middle, and his opponent did the same.

The Gas Pokemon had a serious look. It was time for him to get back at this lizard!

“Let's start with Shadow Ball, Haunter!”

The Gas Pokemon brought his hands together and started to gather ghostly energy and then shoot it.

“Charmeleon, dodge it and counter with Flamethrower!”

The Fire Pokemon spun away from the attack and released a torrent of flames.

Haunter looked surprised for a second.

“Dodge it, Haunter!”

The Ghost/Poison Pokemon was slightly too late to react to the attack and got chipped.

“Stop for a moment!” The pair instantly stopped and looked at their trainer.

Ray looked at his Haunter.

“The greatest perk of a Ghost-type is that you can turn invisible and intangible. However, your weakness is that you can’t take physical hits.

That means you must always look to dodge all of your attacks.”

The Junior Professor explained with a serious look. His Pokemon slowly nodded.

“From now on, we will practise you dodging every attack from multiple enemies.”

“H-Hau!?”

“Don’t worry, we will start with simple dodges first. As you get better, we will add more opponents.” Ray’s words calmed the Gas Pokemon down quite a bit.

“Now, Charmeleon, use your Flamethrower. While you, Haunter, dodge it.”

The pair nodded as they started to train.

As the pair were doing their thing, the Junior Professor instructed his other Pokemons.

Nidoking was with Skorupi practising Poison Jab while Chansey watched over everyone.

That only leaves Vulpix, who is practising fire on a boulder.

Ray would pep talk his Fox Pokemon to make her give her best.

~~~
Regardless, after getting his Ghost/Poison Pokemon, it was time to get back on the road. He still needs to collect all the badges and get that elusive Horsea.
That's why he went south from Lavender Town, a route next to a beach and, from time, it has segments built on wooden bridges fishermen use to fish.
This place is known for Slowpoke and Krabby’s evolutionary lines. The forests just outside the beach have selections of Venonat and Bellsprout evolutionary lines.
And the flyers around this area are more dominated by Spearows Evolutionary line.
None of these has any sort of interest in Ray. It's one of the reasons why he got quite a selection of Pokemon early so that he could start rotating them and training.
‘Oh, right, there are a bunch of Oddish here too.’ The Junior Professor commented as he saw some Gloom and Oddish pass through the walking route from one side to another.
After he internally commented on that, he proceeded to walk forward. This time around, he has his Fox Pokemon following him all the time.
His Charmeleon is getting too big and intimidating; a beautiful Vulpix is much better. He doesn't want to frighten all of the Pokemon away. He still needs to research and observe them.
A couple of hours later, he could finally smell the Ocean, and the wind slightly picked up.
What greeted him a couple of minutes later was the vastness of the ocean in the distance.
‘This would be so much better if this place is known for Horsea and Shellder.’ The Junior Professor sighed to himself before continuing his trip.
The thing is, he will only use half of the route for this trip. Halfway, he will turn back inland towards Vermillion City. That route is somewhat intriguing for Ray. It has rumours about the Drowzee Evolutionary Line, which trainers have spotted before.
How much is true, he has no idea. Psychic Pokemon can be as mysterious as Ghost-types.
As Ray pondered this, he eventually arrived at a Pokemon Centre.
It was time for him to meet his newest team member, Deino.
For this, he sends away Skorupi and gets Deino with a simple warning from Professor. The Junior Professor ends the call and walks outside.
The Pokemon Centre he was staying at had quite a scenic look next to a beach.
With a casual Pokeball throw, his Nidoking manifested.
“Nido?”
“Got a new, very disobedient Pokemon; you will help me to straighten it out.”
Ray’s Drill Pokemon nodded with a thumbs up.
“Good. Be ready to start smacking some sense into this Pokemon.”
Junior Professor said with an assured tone, which made his Pokemon nod seriously this time around.
With another hand motion, he threw his other Pokeball with a burst of light. A black and dark blue Pokemon manifested. It was a quadruple-foot Dragon/Dark type.
“Deino.”
Totally— ignored.
“Deino!”
The Pokemon ignored him once more.
“Nidoking smack him.”
With a nod, the Drill Pokemon walked over, and his hand glowed and delivered a powerful mega punch.
“...”
‘I guess he took it personally.’
Ray had a few drops of sweat on his forehead, seeing that with one move. It was one hit K.O. on Deino.
“Chansey, come help me out.” With another Pokeball throw, his medic manifested.
“Chan?”
“Heal that headache over there.” He motioned to the knocked-out Irrate Pokemon.
With a friendly nod, the Egg Pokemon walked over and started to heal the Dragon/Dark type.
It didn't take a while as the Pokemon was standing once more.
This time, it turned around and looked in his trainer’s direction.
“Will you listen this time around?”
The reply he got was blue flames flying towards him.
The Drill Pokemon intercepted the attack, well more like slapped it aside and then delivered another mega punch.
Once again, Deino rolled several times with swirls in its eyes.
Chansey sighed, seeing that her work was wasted.
“Don’t worry, your work is not wasted. It's part of fixing the problem.” Ray explained to his medic.
The Egg Pokemon once again walked over and started to fix the knocked-out Dragon/Dark type.
A few minutes later, the Irrate Pokemon was once again standing.
“You know. If you listen to me, you will get food and the fights you want. I will even help you to become a powerful Hydreigon.”
The Pokemon huffed as if pondering on that.
“You do know that you will be able to fight my Nidoking. He knocked you out casually, and he is my Pokemon. Once you listen to me, you can rechallenge him when you are strong.”
This time, the Pokemon stopped huffing and started to ponder seriously.
‘That's right. All Dragon-types are proud by nature. The ones who are in younger stages, like Deino, are more instinctual, too.
Not many Pokemon trainers consider beating down their own Pokemon. Honestly, it's unheard of. But Pokemons are still animals. They fight each other and eat other Pokemon.
Like the Pidgey line eating Caterpie.’
“Dei-no!”
After a while, the Irrate Pokemon finally nodded.
“Good. A good Pokemon gets his food.” Of course, the stick and carrot tactic only helps to solidify their new bond.
Ray pulled out a couple of bites of dragon-type food.
The Irrate Pokemon sniffed it and swiftly walked over to the Junior Professor feed to the Dragon/Dark type.
‘Well, the initial steps are over. But there will be more challenges until this bad boy is battle-ready.’
As he thought about it, he pulled out his Pokedex and scanned the Dragon/Dark-type.
[Deino]
[Irrate Pokemon]
[Type: Dragon/Dark]
[Ability:Hustle]
[Gender: Male]
[Moves:Tackle, Focus Energy, Dragonbreath, Bite]
‘So, a baby Pokemon? This is very basic.’ Ray was quite pleased with the discovery. He does love raising baby Pokemon. Those are the easiest to adjust to the battle rhythm he wants.
“Hmm? Do you want more? For more, you have to work.”
The Irrate Pokemon growled at him, but once again, Nidoking knocked him out.
“Nido…”
“...Yeah, a tough cookie, don't you think?”
“...Nido.”
“I suppose, but he has two most annoying types put into one.”
“Nido, Nido.”
“I know. But he will come around, eventually.” As Ray said, Chansey again went over to heal the Irrate Pokemon. She wasn't complaining after seeing the Pokemon starting to behave.
~~~

After the first introduction, Deino started to behave to some degree.

Not that he could stay long with the Dragon/Dark type, as he needed to continue training his Pokemon.

For now, he decided to keep Deino in his party. He needs to break that pride and then rebuild from the bottom.

Oh, since the Professor asked, he started recording how he raised Deino.

However, he needs to be careful about what he puts on the paper, as they say, because he doesn't want everyone to keep his ideas literally and start beating up disobedient Pokemon.

Apart from training his Pokemon, Elesa often messages him about Deino. Part of her was concerned by what she had sent to him.

Deino is infamous in the wrong way. This Pokemon Pseudo Legendary is because one could only be found with a trainer who trains Dragon-type in Unova, and the number of people who have it could be counted on one hand.

But Ray's answer would calm her down. Instead, they focused on chatting more about electric types and, of course, the newly hatched Pichu. The girl is constantly sending pictures of her new mouse Pokemon.

The Junior Professor has no idea what to think about that. But she became five times more active with her chatting.

Which is a good thing? Ray is more knowledgeable about Pokemon than females of the Pokemon world.

But then again, the core tenet didn't change. Paying attention is always the key. And he is attentive, well as much as possible, with someone from the hallway of the world.

Regardless, Ray continued his journey, eventually finishing the part he wanted to spend on Route 12 and entering Route 11, which would take him to Vermillion City in just a few short days.

By the next day's evening, he should be in Vermillion City.

As evening arrived, he arrived at a Pokemon Centre, booked a room and then called Professor Oak.

“Evening Professor, I will need Vibrava and Rhyhorn.”

“Oh, Ray, my Boy! It's said you are midway to Vermillion City!” The Professor was pleased with the Junior Professor's travelling speed.

“Are you planning to dominate the battlefield with the only weakness Electric-types have?” The Regional Professor knows Ray’s tactics to some extent. He exploits type advantages and the Pokemon body advantages.

It's different from Ash's type of fighting and different from Gary’s as well. While Ash already has a style, at this moment, it's in its infancy; Gary's style is still fundamental from what the Professor saw in their gym battle recordings.

Only Ray knows what he aims for, just from seeing how Milotic and Pidgey fought their battles.

“I am. I need to double-check and prepare for my exchange with Surge.” The Junior Professor started his explanation.

“From what I saw so far. His choices for Pokemon battles vary. He goes from 1 to 4 Pokemon battles, depending on his opponent.” Ray sighed while saying that.

“Indeed. Once Surge knows you are his opponent, he can even ask for six vs six. That is a possibility.” Professor said with a thin smile. One part of him is pitying the junior while the other is excited. The old man is excited to see a proper six-on-six so early.

“Yeah, this is why I will be rotating my team right before the battle again.” The Pallet Native said with a resigned tone.

“Fine by me. Give me a couple of minutes to fetch your Pokemons.”

“Right.”

For this, he will be sending Vulpix and Haunter to the Professor.

A few minutes later, the exchange of the pokeballs happened, and Ray had his Ground types with him. Just to be sure, he will have his Onyx ready for battle as well tomorrow.

But that's tomorrow, today. The Junior Professor will train with Rhyhorn and Vibrava.

As the Pallet Native finished all his rituals, he went to sleep as it was getting late.

The following day, it was time for breakfast, and Ray summoned everyone.

When Vibrava and Rhyhorn appeared, Charmeleon with Nidoking greeted them. Chansey did the same, only Deino was not interested. Instead, it was munching on his food. The Irrate Pokemon became addicted to Ray’s specially prepared food.

The Dragon/Dark type was acting like a starving Growlithe.

Once the breakfast was over, Ray went with training.

Rhyhorn went to fight against Charmeleon. The purpose of this fight was to build up muscle power for Charmeleon.

While Vibrava went to fight against Nidoking, this fight aimed to increase the speed of Nidoking’s punches while Vibrava continued to improve its dodging ability.

Just as Ray wanted, this fight is real, and a real battle is needed to improve his Pokemon in the most natural way possible.

The Junior Professor notices that his Pokemon improve fastest if they constantly fight. He has not mentioned any of this in his books. He is keeping a few core tenets to himself.

Like his food creation, which leads to a fight and the experience his Pokemon get.

With a burst of power, Charmeleon pushed Rhyhorn away and opened his mouth, releasing extremely intense flames.

‘That's Overheat. Finally! As expected, some moves just need that extra inch to manifest.’

Ray was pleased with the latest training session.

Apart from that, Vibrava continued to improve its powers. From his observations, he noticed that his Ground/Dragon type is developing a dragon move which looks like Dragon Pulse.

Move Vibrava naturally doesn't learn. It only acquires it from its evolved form, Flygon.

This is a fantastic route: more dragon power means faster evolution.

However, one smack from Nidoking was all needed for the Vibration Pokemon to get knocked out.

“Not bad. But endurance needs some work. Chansey, can you please heal Vibrava?”

The Egg Pokemon swiftly walked over and started to heal the Ground/Dragon Pokemon.

As the team healer was working on Vibrava, Ray walked over to his Drill Pokemon.

“Nidoking, remember, not clenched fist, but open hand, like this.” The Junior Professor showed me how to use Brick Break.

Brick Breaker is vital for long-term fights. If his Nidoking becomes a complete all-rounder, he alone can fight a whole Pokemon team of six.

Once his Drill Pokemon develops those Fighting-type moves, he can start teaching Thunderbolt and Flamethrower.

Of course, the key weakness he needs to get over is Psychic. For that, he will teach his Nidoking Taunt and Megahorn.

Taunt would stop Psychic Pokemon midway who want to use Psychic moves, and Megahorn would slaughter most Psychic.

The majority of Psychic doesn't have high defences except for Metagross and Bronzong lines, both of which are far from Kanto and Johto.

After instructing his Drill Pokemon and returning to training with recovered Vibrava, Ray went to watch over Rhyhorn and Charmeleon sparring.

What the Junior Professor saw made him excited. His Charmeleon is showing signs of being close to evolution.

Excess use of Fire and his Starter Pokemon’s tail flickers to high flame and back.

‘This is wonderful.’

“Rhyhorn, if Charmeleon is serious, you must also be serious. Push him back. Don't allow him to get the upper hand this easily.” Ray said with crossed arms as he looked at both of them, trying to push each other back.

With a roar, Rhyhorn started to get serious. The Spikes Pokemon is a literal rhinoceros, a miniature tank, so it began to flex its muscles.

But this is where Charmeloen’s eyes glowed red, and his tail erupted like a bonfire.

Instead of being pushed back, the Fire Pokemon was the one who was pushing back!

“Char—”

Massive light erupted from Charmeleon. Nidoking and Vibrava stopped with their training and looked at the source of light.

While Rhyhorn wasn't that lucky, as Chameleon's body started to grow, the final form of Charmander towered over the Spikes Pokemon.

A pair of wings sprouted from Charmeleon's back. The tail got longer, and the Kanto’s Fire Starter’s head turned draconic.

“-Zard!”

With a roar, the newly evolved Charizard grabbed Rhyhorn, lifted him and slammed him into the ground.

*ROAR*

The massive Fire/Flying roared into the sky as his pent-up energy was finally released.

“Fantastic! Charizard! You finally evolved!”

The Flame Pokemon gave his trainer a thumbs-up before looking at Nidoking.

Sparks started to fly between them. Ray noticed that immediately.

“Rhyhorn, Vibrava, come over here. Those two need to spar.”

The pair got close to their Trainer while Nidoking walked over to face the newly evolved Charizard.

“Now, Charizard, show me your Flamethrower and you, Nidoking, start with Protect.”

The Flame Pokemon opened his mouth, and a torrent of absurdly hot flames rushed towards the Drill Pokemon, who crossed his hand and created a yellow barrier.

“Good! Now, let's switch! Charizard Fire Punch! And you Nidoking Mega Punch!”

The pair roared and rushed at each other. Fists collided, and the earth slightly cracked under their feet.

Nidoking looked impressed when he saw that Charizard only got pushed back slightly. The sheer boost the evolution gave to Fire/Flying was absurd.

However, the Drill Pokemon is no pushover!

The Poison/Ground type roared at his trainer.

“Very well, let's see if you can do it. Use Poison Jab with your other hand.”

The other hand of Nidoking glowed purple as it tried to jab at Charizard, who roared back and dunked away with its new wings.

“Now show me your Overheat.”

The Flame Pokemon opened its mouth, and flames started to gather; the Fire Starter's body began to glow as a massive amount of flames descended on Nidoking from Charizard’s mouth.

“Try to use Protect, Nidoking!”

The Drill Pokemon once more crossed his hands and tried to summon his golden shield, but it failed.

The Overheat rammed into the Poison/Ground type. The heat was intense. It was strong enough for Ray to feel his skin getting hotter several metres away.

‘That's some intense power. I guess that special diet pays off in the long run.’

The Junior Professor licked his lips. They were dry.

Once the attack ended, Nidoking stood tall as he lowered his hands and looked at Charizard with a challenged look.

“Good! Answer with Ice Beam, Nidoking!”

The Drill Pokemon opened his mouth and released a beam of ice energy.

“Start dodging Charizard! Show me your ability to fly!”

With a roar, the Fire/Flying type proceeded to manoeuvre around the ice stream.

‘Not bad, but not enough.’ The Junior Professor noticed that training is needed to manoeuvre around attacks.

Sure enough, Drill Pokemon scored a direct hit, which forced Charizard to land.

“Counter with Flamethrower, Charizard!”

The Flame Pokemon opened his mouth and released a stream of flames at Nidoking.

“Counter with Venoshock.”

The Drill Pokemon released a stream of toxins, which slammed into flames, causing them to cancel each other.

‘Not bad, this is the beauty of Pokemon battles with fully evolved Pokemons.’

“Not bad. Enough for now.” Ray noticed that both of them were breathing heavily by this point.

The pair stopped looking serious and looked at their trainer.

“Now for the issues you both have.” The Junior Professor walked over with Rhyhorn, Vibrava, and Chansey.

“Charizard, we will be training your wings and manoeuvrability. While you Nidoking need to improve your all-rounder abilities.

Charizard’s ranged attacks are very dangerous to you.” Ray explained as he looked at his two fully evolved Pokemon.

The pair nodded at him.

“Good, now return for now and rest.” The Pallet Native returned his two Pokemon and then looked at his other three.

“Rest for now. The training session is over.”

~~~~~~Pallet Town~~~~~~
“Oh, what is this?” Professor Oak checked the notification on his computer.
His eyes widened slightly before smiling at what he saw.
“...What an impressive specimen.” The Professor said with a nostalgic voice as he looked at Ray’s Charizard.
The Pokeball recorded Flame Pokemon’s size and weight. From what he was, this Pokemon didn't rush its evolution; it was more like sheer power overload.
Just like Ray’s Gyarados. The sheer energy they stored erupted. This is unlike other Pokemon’s who evolve from age and steady training.
No, Ray developed a series of training methods to make them rapidly grow and develop; it's like he is exploiting their ability to adapt.
Truly genius.’
After realising that the Professor was interested in how he would raise Deino and Dratini?
The Pseudo Legendary Pokemon are the true milestone for any Pokemon trainer.
Some trainers never reach that final stage with their pseudo-legendaries.
Either the trainers lose their drive, or the Pokemon never get that challenge needed to make those Pokemon evolve; on top of that, these rare Pokemon require extended periods to develop.
And at this moment, Ray has two of these.
‘Well, time will tell.’
After checking the newly evolved Charizard’s specs, the professor decided to get some coffee.
~~~~~~Later, Same Day, Evening~~~~~~

Junior Professor entered the Pokemon Centre in Vermillion City. He immediately needed to step aside as the whole Pokemon Centre was busy, very busy!

A bunch of Nurse Joys and their Pokemon were helping hurt Pokemon.

“...Damn, Surge is on a rampage,” Ray commented as he saw Pokemon in beds even outside the clinic and in the waiting area.

However, the Pokemon which are hurt are babies at best. He can see Rattata, Oddish and other widespread ones. There is no powerful one at all.

As Ray walked towards the counter, he realised that Ash had not been in this place yet, as he was the one who solved ‘the issue’.

But, like always, that kid got lost midway.

“Nurse Joy.”

“Hmm…?” The pink-haired woman looked tired. She lifted her head and looked at who it was. The moment she saw the new guest, her eyes lit up.

“Ray, you're finally here!”

Her reaction made Ray sweat. Is she was waiting for him!?

“Y-Yeah.”

“Can you beat up Surge? He has been causing problems for me again!” Her request made the Junior Professor a little bit spooked. By beating up, she means in Pokemon battle, right!?

That guy is rumoured to be around two metres tall!

“I was planning to challenge his gym first thing in the morning.”

“Good. Then let me give you a room.” She lifted her hand and asked for his Pokedex.

Without wasting time, he handed his Pokedex and gave her his six Pokeballs.

“I want them to get checked up before the challenge.”

“Of course, leave it to me.” Her Chansey took the tray.

Seconds later, he got his Pokedex with keys.

“Have a nice stay.”

Ray took the keys and saw that she had given him Professor Suite. With a sigh, he walked to get some evening snacks.

The Junior Professor didn't need to wait for long. His Pokemon were ready in just a few minutes after essential checkups after he had Chansey of his own.

After getting his Pokemon, he went to his room to check the info on Surge. He needed to know what kind of Pokemon that retired Soldier had.

As he got comfortable in his room, he pulled out his laptop and checked the League’s portal.

The eight official gyms are explained in quite detail. Ray went over to Vermillion City. The current most used Pokemon is Raichu, but Surge has Electrode, Magneton, Electabuzz and even Jolteon. That's a rare Pokemon

And some of their previous evolution.

‘If this is the case, I shall prepare a full six-team just in case he wants to duke out for that badge.’

After checking the Gym’s Pokemon, Ray started writing on his Deino.

The Junior Professor is careful with his Irrate Pokemon; he doesn't casually summon that Dragon/Dark Pokemon. One wrong move and that thing could bite off someone’s hand or leg.

The Unovan Pseudo-Legendary requests special treatment until it's ready for proper training.

Ray assumes that will start when Deino evolves into Zweilous.

‘Or not, he will acquire a second head. Which means he will require even more training to control this Pokemon.’

After pondering on that, Ray continued to write about his Pokemon and on the side, he put down some notes, too. He is, after all, experimenting with his training methods to raise his Pokemon from the Unova region.

However, he didn't spend a lot of time writing. He needs to rest as tomorrow he will be facing his third challenge.

~~~~~~Next Morning~~~~~~
The first thing he did in the morning was to send over his Chansey and Deino to Professor, and in turn, he got Onix and Pawniard. Not that he has many choices for his sixth Pokemon.
It's either a water type or Electric or barely trained Pokemon like Haunter or recently hatched.
Or extremely weak to Electric like his Pidgeotto.
The best choice is Pawniard by this point.
With a full team of six, Ray was ready for battle. The Junior Professor left the Pokemon Centre and walked towards Vermillion City Gym.
The moment he arrived there, a pair of punks greeted him.
“Oh, look, another baby. Do you want to be beaten by our boss too?” The punk guy opened first.
Ray’s reaction was a deadpan.
“I am Ray from Pallet Town; I wish to challenge Surge.”
“!!!”
The pair of ‘bodyguard’ punks' reactions were wild. Their mocking smirks were gone, and they turned ‘normal’.
“Follow us.”
“Sure.”
‘As I thought with how many newbies were challenging Surge, he got tired, so he started beating them down seriously, and now he has punk door guards. That's why I don't want to be a gym leader; it's such a drag.’
As Ray followed the pair of punks, they ended up in the classic Pokemon battle arena.
“Boss! THAT Ray wants to challenge you to a fight!”
A few seconds later, the Junior Professor heard laughter.
“Hahaha! Finally! I have been waiting for you!!! I hope you are ready because I, Lieutenant Surge, accept your challenge!
This battle will be a six-on-six full battle! Only the challenger is allowed to change!” From the other side of the arena, a tall man dressed in military clothes and short blonde hair, followed by a Raichu, walked into the arena.
“I thought you only do one-on-one.”
“I do, but this is a special occasion. If you win, I will give you something special.”
“...Then you should have said so.”
“Ha! That's the spirit! Then let's start!”
The pair walked to their sides, and one of the punks was a referee, which is crazy if one thinks about it.
Is he cosplaying to turn newbies away? Or is he like Pewter Gym? Where Brock’s brother is the referee?
Well, it does matter.
“This is a six-on-six battle between challenger Ray from Pallet Town and Gym Leader of Vermillion City, Lieutenant Surge!
Only the challenger is allowed to substitute! Now begin!”
“Now go! Magnemite!
The Gym Leader started first as he summoned the first form of Magnezone, the Magnet Pokemon Magnemite.
Seeing the first Pokemon, Ray decided to start with his Spikes Pokemon.
‘Thought so, then I will start with Rhyhorn!’
“Go Rhyhorn!
Will MC get an Eevee and evolve it to one of the not known/lesser known forms? Could use that as a potential case study to get increased funding from the league and become buddies with bill
