Sounds of Gunshots spread through the hangar as ZAFT infiltrators were stopped for a short while. One of the Elite Red Coats was shot before he could board the GAT-X105 Strike.

The one who saw his teammate get shot quickly dropped what he was doing and instead rushed to kill who had shot his teammate.

He quickly opened fire and was able to slightly graze the engineer, who was a woman.

Moments later, his bullets had ended, so he pulled out his knife, though before he stabbed the woman who killed the other ZAFT red coat.

A spin kick sends him flying back away from the woman.

"W-What the—"

"No time. I suggest we board the mobile suit."  Kira said as he looked at the brown-haired woman. The very same one who is going to be the captain of the prototype spaceship.

"Right…" There was not much hesitation in her as she knew what was going on…

She quickly moved to board the mech while Kira looked at the shell-shocked ZAFT red coat. Though he could not see his face because of the helmet and all the smoke and the fire in the hangar, the brown-haired teen knew who this was.

The teen did a simple two-finger salute before entering the mecha.

"Kira… shit! Damn…"

The red coat quickly rushed to the other available mobile suit.

Internally he was panicking as he knew who was Kira. He attended the same school as him! He knew this kid was… hardcore!

"You should allow me to control the Strike."

Kira telling the name of the machine got the woman quite shocked.

"H-How do—"

She was quickly interrupted as he started to explain to her.

"The OS was coded mostly by me. The professor wasn't very good at hiding clues on what I had been doing my homework on." Kira said with an eye roll.

"Damn… I knew it was too good…" It appears she knew something though she didn't get much into detail.

"You know that this is a military—"

"I know, the details, this is a top-secret military weapon designed by Morgenroete and the Earth Alliance. Again your systems need better firmware to keep hackers away.

Now we have no time, Aegis will come online soon."

"Right…" She was baffled to hear all that, but she did move away and allowed Kira to take over.

He quickly pressed the start-up button, and the three screens came online. He quickly pulled out his flash drive and inserted it into one available USB port. Well, it's not THE USB but a much more advanced version of it.

"What are you doing?"

"The OS is not ready. So I finished it in my free time. This will significantly reduce the bootup and make Strike operational." As Kira said that, he quickly checked the files, and his eyes quickly scanned everything before grabbing the controls.

Sure enough, the Gundam started to stand up.

While the Aegis was still not online properly, Kira looked at the Aegis.

"What should we do with it? It going to take at least several more minutes for that red coat to make it operational." The teen asked the woman.

"...Can you try to take him out with as little damage as possible?"

"Not possible. The cockpit is the most solid structure of the machine. The strike doesn't have that kind of force."

"...Then damage the limbs! We can rebuild it at a later time."

"Sound plan…" As Kira said that, he quickly checked the weapons…

"Though… there will be some issues… Strike doesn't have any armaments except two daggers which will blow Aegis up." The brownhead said he looked at the screen.

"...Then do it! If we can't get it back, then let's destroy it!"

"As the lady wishes." As Kira said that, he selected one of the daggers, and his Gundam moved to pull out the short weapon.

Sure enough, he had the weapon and lunged to stab Aegis, who was still lying down.

But last moment, the machine's thrusters ignited and the opposing Gundam ALMOST dodged the attack as Kira threw the weapons and stabbed into the arm of the Aegis.

This caused it to explode. However, the main body was not that damaged as Aegis disconnected the limb.

"Damn that ZAFT." The woman exclaimed angrily, seeing this.

The Aegis and Strike for a second had a stand-off before the opposing mobile suit colour changed from dull grey to red.

"Quick! Active the Phase-Shift armour!" She instructed, and Kira did just that.

"This thing sucks quite a bit of energy. Going need to rework on it later." The teen said that as he saw the readings.

Instead of attacking Kira and his mech, Aegis looked at the hangar doors and released a salvo of bullets from the CIWS, which were mounted on the suit's head.

The doors crumbled, and the suit blasted through it ready to escape.

"Quickly after it!"

"We need a weapon. The dagger is useless against that Phase-Shift armour." Kira said that as he looked around and saw that there was nothing of value there.

So after doing that, he went after Aegis, to the outside.

What he saw was a red suit standing next to a GINN.

"Athrun!? What the hell happened to the machine!?"

"The other machine. It was boarded by Earth Alliance and a civilian." Athrun said that as he looked at the doors. Waiting for that other one to come out.

"Natural and Civilian!? Are you serious?"

"Don't underestimate him, Miguel." The Red Gundam pilot said with a frown. Should he tell him how seriously dangerous Kira is?

'Yes… I should… Kira actively boarded that machine. Knowing him, he only cares about the machine…'  Athrun thought with a deeper frown.

"Oh? You know something?"

"Yes… the civilian's name is Kira Yamato, and he is an exceptional Coordinator who is obsessed with Mobile suits and anything related to electronics."

"A Coordinator!?"

With a burst from the hangar, Strike Gundam appeared and landed not far from Miguel's GINN and Athrun's Aegis Gundam.

Sure enough, Strike lunged forward towards the GINN.

Miguel, for a second panicked as he saw the mech simply attack him like this!

"Your weapons are mine." They heard through the comms a teenager's voice, it was quite serious.

The GINN pilot opened fire, but Phase Shift armour is immune to physical weapons like that, so Strike ignored all of it, lunged forward and delivered a push kick while grabbing the rifle from the ZAFT mobile suit.

"What the fuck!!!" Miguel exclaimed as his frontal camera got broken while he lost his weapon! The force behind that kick has sent his GINN flying away.

"Damn, Miguel!" Athrun frowned hard as he rushed forward. He can't allow Kira to utterly obliterate his teammate like this.

The red Gundam pilot quickly checked all the weapons his mech had. His eyes slightly widened as he saw that his machine could transform and that all of its limbs had beam sabers!

Without much hesitation, he lunged forward with a beam saber, but what he got was a rifle flying into his face.

He quickly cut it!

But it exploded in his face.

"Damn… you Kira…"

Moments later, a fist of Gundam Strike slammed into his frontal camera. This made him instantly take some distance.

"Miguel! We need to retreat now!" Athrun said that with some panic as he saw the camera got damaged!

"Damn…it Athrun! Once we are back, you are going to tell me everything you know about this guy! I want to know everything!"

As the GINN pilot said that, he activated the thrusters and started to fly away.

Right after him was Aegis.

Athrun made sure to look at Strike one more time before he picked up speed.

'Damn it, Kira… You didn't stop training and getting more obsessed with machines, didn't you?' The red Gundam pilot through once more as he remembered his childhood back on the Moon.

He remembered how Kira simply dominated his studies and talked all about robotics with borderline worship…

'Even back then, he said that one day there will be huge robots and how they will dominate the battlefields…. He was right… damn…' The Aegis pilot realised that his childhood friend was almost like a prophet, and now ZAFT has these robots and even Earth Alliance developed their own.

Everything was just like how he said…

~~~~~~Strike~~~~~~

"Well, they are gone. Though I believe they will return since they didn't get Strike." Kira said that as he sighed. He was disappointed that he wasn't able to get proper weapons. He would be able to do more damage and might get some Aegis parts…

"That's fine. For now, we are safe. We need to contact any available Earth Alliance personnel. Are you able to do that?" She asked the teen while holding her bleeding hand.

"Sure. Though you need to get your wound checked, you are bleeding quite a bit." He wanted to say more like. Like 'You bleeding all over my mech'… though he holds that in…for now.

"It's nothing much. More importantly, try contacting Earth Alliance!"

"Sure… let me check the radio frequencies." The teen said that as he started to check the channels.

Kira said that with a resigned tone. This woman is annoying…

Though the brown-haired teen sure enough noticed familiar faces.

"Those idiots… I told them to get into escape pods…"

The teen's comment made the woman look where he was looking.

"More…civilians?"

"Yeah. My classmates from the same college. We have been working on a robotics project here in Morgenroete." He explained to her as he made the Strike walk towards there.

"Didn't I tell you guys to get into escape pods?"

The group of teenagers stiffened before they looked at the towering Mobile Suit speak with a very familiar voice!

"I-Its Kira!"

"Of course it's him… he would jump into the line to pilot a mobile suit!"

"I can hear that. Anyway. Get some first aid kit. One of the engineers got hit by a bullet. She is inside the cockpit."

"O-On it…"

Sometimes later, after threatening the teenagers with her gun. For obvious reasons, Strike was a top military project and it was not a toy…

Kira made sure that one of the Strike Weaponry was brough to him.

And it was not the Positron Beam… but the Aile Package. The beam rifle, the Shield, the flight support unit, and a couple of beam sabers.

This was the most used and the best configuration for the Strike Gundam. Especially good against the other Gundams.

Sure enough, he needed to test it soon…

"Guy's a ZAFT Mobile Suit is facing against one of the Earth Alliance's Mobile Armours. I am going to help the Armour out." As Kira said that, he powered up his machine, kicked off and flew up.

He pointed his beam rifle and started to shoot at the White mobile suit. The Command unit is different from a GINN. It's named CGUE.

The difference is the thrusters. They are much more powerful. This is why the mech dodged the beams with minimum gracing.

"Mobile Armour. This GAT-X105 Strike. Going to help you out." Kira said that to the Orange mobile armour.

"Hmm? Are you just a kid? How did you get into that machine?" The surprised voice of the mobile armour pilot spread through the cockpit of Strike.

"ZAFT sabotage, among other things, let me into the Strike. You don't mind help from a teenage civilian now, do you?" Kira said that as he tried to shoot down the white mobile suit.

All of his shots were dodged and answered back with physical bullets, which were ignored by the Strike instead he went in closer and tried to tank the mobile suit.

His reckless action made the white suit slightly caught off guard as Kira went in and blasted one of its hands.

However, the machine quickly got over it and tried to hit Strike with its sword, which the Gundam intercepted.

Then the Mobile Armour attacked which made the white suit break off and run away with its impressive speed.

"Not bad, kid. Are you thinking of joining the army?"

"If they can give me a good machine to pilot."

"Hahaha. We can think of something!"
