As the pair landed on the roof, they looked around.
“We should locate someplace to lay low for a bit, then come up with a decision on what to do,” Julis said as she looked around.
Since they are in a place where the economy experienced a meltdown not long ago, they should have abandoned buildings, maybe even entire blocks.
Damn sure, in her original world, there were entire cities abandoned thanks to the cataclysm
“Hmm, thinking logically, Tokyo Centre most likely got the first one fixed; this means the city's outskirts could be in a bad state.”
“True, the bay was most likely first fixed; ships needed to dock, and since it's paramilitary, they most likely brought their gear via boats.”
After getting some idea of where to look, the pair flew away from the ocean they saw in the distance.
*Helicopter Rotor Sounds*
“Ugh…” Julis grimaced upon hearing that.
“I guess they genuinely want to die,” Alex commented as he turned around and saw white helicopters with a secondary black colour. These were the same colouring as the soldiers they met before.
‘Partner, a suggestion.’
‘Hmm, what is it?’
‘There are no devils here or other supernatural stuff. What is holding you back from having your way with everyone here? You have that Balance Breaker you haven't used yet.’
Albion casually suggested to Alex. The teen could hear fighting in the background of some sort.
There was a theme song there as well.
‘Is that T.M Revolution- Meteor?’ For a second, he was confused. That's Gundam stuff—
‘Yeah, battle of Alaska, anyway; you can use that Balance Breaker anytime.’
‘Right.’
Mentally flipping a switch, Alex could feel a surge of power.
[BALANCE BREAKER!!!]
[VANISHING DRAGON SCALE MAIL]
White light surrounded the teen as he got encased in white armour. The energy wing’s size also increased, making the armour-clad Alex look bigger.
However, the size increase doesn't mean his movement is slower; after all, the armour itself is energy, not metal. With this much energy, he is ten times faster!
*LIGHTNING SCREECH*
With Dragon Thunder Force, even more so!
Like a streak of white light, he appeared before a helicopter.
“I do hope your insurance policies cover dragon attacks.”
With casual motion, he yanked the doors off, then simply grabbed the guy piloting the helicopter and threw him out.
“Yoink one.”
As he dropped the first one
“Agh!!!”
The pilot started to scream as he was free-falling.
In the meantime, Alex appeared on the other side and did the same with the other doors.
“Yoink two.”
The other guy was already freefalling as well.
He then looked at the terrified gunner, who was holding a machine gun.
“You can yoink yourself.”
With a nod, the guy jumped off!
“Poor guy.”
After that, he slashed the vehicle in half. The blade was far longer than he had ever created before, and it was easy to do, which surprised him. Everything was ten times more!
With one down, he repeated the same action with the other one and then rushed over to grab the stunned girlfriend and flew away with absurd speed towards the outskirts of the city.
Less than a minute later, they landed in an abandoned-looking factory. The thing is missing doors and pieces of roof.
“Wow, I need to get one for myself.” Julis was stunned for a bit; she commented on what she had just witnessed. She instinctively started to fix her hair, which she knew was a mess.
[I suggest you don't. I don't want to be next to Red One all the time.] Albion spoke through the wings.
“For a battery, you sure are a lively one,” Julis commented with an eye roll. Since when does she need to listen to a battery?
[Ugh…]
“She got you there,” Alex commented with a joking tone. He dismissed his Balance Breaker, and the wings got retracted.
Albion retreated to recuperate from the ‘damage’.
The pair proceeded to walk into the empty factory. There are some puddles, some oil puddles; grass is growing through the cracks in the concrete. The place looked like it was slowly getting conquered by nature.
“What now? It's not like we can return to some sort of ‘house’. We don't exist in this place.” Julis spoke first as she looked around.
“Well, we can start systematically purging the company which runs the country.” He said without care.
“Isn't that a little bit extreme?”
“It's a corporation. They only care about profits and testing things on Japanese people.
One way or another, this company has to cease to exist. It's either us or the ‘terrorists’ who will do it.
Alex pondered for a bit. Yes, they need to do something. The only thing he can think of is to fight them. Get the Power of the Kings.
Erase all the data they have on the virus.
“How good are your hacking skills?”
“Huh? Well, I do know— some? Depending on OS. You do know that I am more of a fighter?”
“Yes, well, we need to add ourselves into the system; the surveillance will pick us up immediately if we are to return.” He pointed out his reason for that.
“...Right— OR you can fry the whole system. Your lighting can do that.” She suggested an alternative.
“...Wow, I never expected my Princess to suggest complete brute strength for the answer.”
She shrugged at him.
“I am simply suggesting how to destroy this company. One thing at a time until they leave this place.”
After welcoming they gave to the pair, she is feeling quite vindictive.
“Works with me Julis. It's not like we have parents who will haunt us.” He casually shrugged. His response made her look at him for a bit. A small smile crept on her lips.
“Indeed~”

With a barebone plan in place, the pair decided to attract the attention of the paramilitary company. Let them come to them.
Once these people have some command post deployed, they can get some info from it.
Alex, after all, wants to get the only thing which this place has, and that is the Power of Kings.
So, without wasting any more time, since they didn't have a place to stay, they decided to do some serious damage before they could rest for the night.
Once the company is in shambles, those white-dressed people can focus on fixing damage instead of coming after them.
“You know, on paper, this plan looks stupid. I mean, we are just waiting on a major crossroads.” Julis wasn't that happy with such a simple plan.
She is more on the complex side. But then again. This kind of move is the best they can do without proper intelligence.
“Come now, darling, just smile and wave at the cameras.” Alex broadly smiled as he waved his hand at the camera on the traffic light pole.
*Giggle*
“Madagascar? I guess it fits with the context.” She followed what he did and smiled and waved at the camera.
On the other side of the cameras, the people are scrambling to deploy their tech. The higher-ups are pissed.
Heavy SUVs and other tech were deployed to apprehend the pair, including several endlaves.
Endlaves are cutting-edge technology which, in a sense, is a remote exoskeleton. Since the U.N. sponsors GHQ, they have the world’s most advanced technology.
Including Endlaves, in a sense, can test out the most cutting-edge technology in Japan, which is land controlled by GHQ.
“They– REALLY want us captured.” Julis was impressed by the sheer speed this paramilitary company surrounded them.
“Money talks; when someone or something is losing money for a company, reaction is quick.”
“True, I shouldn't be surprised, but then again, this is my first time looking at it from a different angle.”
As she said, three mechs rolled in; they were around three to four metres tall, humanoid, and held weapons meant for their size. The bullets used on those should be enormous.
“You two are surrounded. Surrender, and we will guarantee we won't harm your lives.”
“Wait, I thought they wouldn't harm us?” Julis blinked for a second; she wondered if her Japanese was getting rusty.
“No, what they mean is we will live, but harm? As in experiments, you know?” He clarified to her.
“Oh… hell no! I am not a guinea pig!” As she complained, her hair came to life as flames rose from her.
“GUYS! I APOLOGISE! I HOPE YOUR INSURANCE POLICIES COVER YOU FROM ALIEN INVASIONS AND DRAGON ATTACKS!” As Alex exclaimed loudly, white light consumed his body; the next second, Scale Mail armour encased his body.
This time around, none of the soldiers waited; they opened fire.
They learned very quickly from previous encounters.
But even then, Alex swiftly moved and cut all the weapons and then proceeded to slice and dice the mechs, trying to fight him.
The issue with endlaves is that their reaction speed is that of the pilot; in other words, they are as good as a human’s reaction speed.
With three mechs disabled, the teen cut open the biggest-looking SUV.
“Hello? Anybody home?”
***BANG***BANG***BANG**
A tall and broad-shouldered man of African descent opened fire on White Dragon Emperor, who poked his head inside the SUV.
“Sheesh. Not even a warning. No manners there, mate.”
“Fuck you, alien freak!” The Major of GHQ exclaimed loudly with a sweaty forehead. He didn't expect such a one-sided beatdown!
“Now that's just rude. Let me assist you with etiquette.” Alex grabbed the guy before yanking him from the command centre.
By this point, his subordinates had already scrambled out and ran away.
Major of the GHQ landed on the asphalt with a loud thud.
“Agh! Shit! This hurts!” The man complained as he slowly stood up and checked his pistol; he still had four bullets left.
“You know, I am curious why you are not running yet.”
The white-armoured-clad teen asked with an interested look.
“Fuck you, Alien freak! Freaks like you are the reason GHQ exists in the first place!”
***BANG***BANG***BANG***BANG***
[HALF DIMENSION!!!]
The energy wings glowed on Alex’s back as the four bullets shrunk to nothingness.
“...What…the…”
The guy’s hand started to tremble as he saw that his gun didn't do shit!
“Plan B?”
“...Didn’t think that far.”
“I see. Well, good night.”
The White Dragon Emperor appeared in front of the burly guy and delivered an ‘electrified’ punch, which knocked the guy out cold. He twitched a bunch of times before collapsing on his face.
After taking care of enemies on his end, he turned around and looked at Julis.
There was a massive pyre of flames as she was cooking her enemies—
[Oh, excellent, your mate is learning the pleasure of roasting enemies to death.]
Albion commented casually.
“You went through a similar phase?”
[Indeed. I am a dragon, after all. Your mate wields three types of flames. I won't be surprised if she develops certain ‘habits’.]
“Right.”
Alex decided not to comment on Julis’ increasing satisfaction in burning stuff; he is pretty sure that is what people call an arsonist.
“Julis, the SUV is empty. Let's get some info.” The White Dragon Emperor floated over to his girlfriend, who set fire to the last remaining SUV on her side.
“Right.”
The pair entered the heavy car; consoles were on both sides, and at least seven people could sit there.
“Not bad tech. These guys are approaching my world’s level of tech. However, the holographic interface is missing.”
She complained for a bit before starting to dig around.
“Hmm…”
Going through several windows, she scoffed for a bit.
“These guys call themselves ‘Anti-bodies’. They are taking this virus thing to a new level.”
She commented on what she saw.
“Still, there is a map with several facilities mentioned. We can track this from positions where they get deployed from. One by one, we could disarm their power base.”
“Any mentions of research facilities?” Alex asked as he looked at the console as well.
“Nothing like that. But! There are reports about locations where ‘Anti-bodies’ guard specific ‘companies’.
If we follow such logic, this means they guard specific companies who do particular research.”
“Hmm, good enough.”
Finally, a direction.
