After finishing with the food, Raynor and the rest returned to the living room.
Now that there was nothing to distract them, Asagi and Natsuki felt crushing anxiety descending on them.
“Not bad, Natsuki. Though it’s a pity that you needed to access Abyss just to learn how to cook.” He commented as he could sense how these two just wanted to run away and hide somewhere.
“...You noticed it?” The Witch maid looked surprised for a second.
“...can we drop the idiocy that you can hide things from a Demon God? Your soul is mine. You still haven’t understood that?” Raynor sighed as he pulled La Folia closer to himself. The Princess patted his head as she could sense his frustration.
“It’s not some arbitrary thing. Your thoughts, emotions… all of it flows through me if I want to. I can tap into it and change it if I want to, thanks to Shirona’s gifts.
So, yes, I know what you think and what you could think. If need be, I could change your thought process, too. That is what it means to have your soul.
Are we clear?”
“...”
“...Diabolical…”
“Thanks. I am a Demon God, after all.” Raynor smiled at the compliment.
“...It’s not a compliment!” Natsuki replied with a tired sigh.
“Hahaha, and that is why it's amusing to tease you. Even now, you're still showing your fangs, and it's cute.”
“You just love to terrorise a girl, don’t you,” Asagi commented from the side.
“Depends how you perceive this. If we speak in terms you understand, it's like listening to a court jester speaking disrespectfully to a king or some low-class worker speaking trash to his CEO.
I come from a place where such acts can lead to bad consequences.” He reminded her why he finds Natsuki amusing.
“Yes- Yes… we heard it before.” Asagi sighed as she felt emotionally drained from just being here. She feels like killing herself is a better alternative by this point.
“Good, it reminds me, Asagi, you will be helping me oversee the Gigafloat. I want to see if we picked up anything of interest.”
“...Fine…” She took a deep breath and replied with a short word.
“Good, ladies, we shall return to watching the island. If you find any scouts from random factions, deal with them after taking their memories and powers. It will help in infiltrating their faction in return.”
His Knight, Witch, Hime Miko and Goddess nodded as they teleported away one after another.
“I do hope that they won’t hurt people from my Kingdom.” La Folia said to him as she watched the whole incident.
“You can always tell them about your people. You are, after all, connected to the Olympus.” He reminded her that she could communicate via Olympus.
“True. In the meantime, what are we going to do?” She nodded at his reply before asking the question.
“No idea. All I can do is wait for the arrival of my enemies. I am certain that Shirona’s actions have caused a stir on the national stage. It's only a matter of time before there is a response.”
“... There is no doubt, considering how fragile the balance is in the world. The appearance of Demon God will cause the world’s powers to move to intercept you at the earliest possible time.” La Folia reasoned as she was considering all she knew.
And she was not wrong as world powers already deployed their navies…
“Well, I think it's time I move my Vikings.”
“...”

“It's so quiet here,” Yukina said to Sayaka as The Lion King’s Organisation’s private plane just landed at the airport, which is dead silent, with no people at border control or in the air traffic.
Raynor’s actions no doubt caused a mess as people who wanted to leave or enter the island already told the wider society that something was going on and other nations would start acting soon.
“Yeah. We should get to him as soon as possible. Otherwise, he will think that the Lion King Organisation is not assisting him.” Sayaka said with a sigh. She is considering how fickle he can be, and there is a chance that he will see it that way.
“Yes, Let’s go.” Yukina nodded as the pair swiftly rushed past the empty border control and entered the island.
Though the moment they did, they had no idea where to look…
Not that it mattered, as soon enough they were greeted by flaming beings which manifested from thin air… They looked like humanoid familiars made from black flames and red glowing eyes.
“...What are they?” The pair felt threatened as the energy these creatures were radiating was extremely oppressive.
“...Fufufu… Ahh… this energy…” A female voice spread through the area.
“You are with Lion King’s Organisation.” A woman appeared from the flames as she slowly floated down. She was dressed in a purple kimono with long black hair and purple eyes.
“We are. Our objective is to assist Raynor Valeron in any way we can.” Sayaka felt threatened by this witch. This woman's power is off the charts. It's oppressing her just by being in her presence.
“So you are the new minions he acquired. Very well, you may pass.” The witch was disappointed that first-comers were actually ‘reinforcements’ instead of invaders…
“...Our thanks.”
As the pair passed, the witch looked away, gazing in the distance.
‘Or I might have some fun after all.’

“What the hell? The island is desolated…” A burly man with a grumpy voice pulled his inflatable motor boat at the shore of Itogami Island. He arrived at one of the harbours. He used the cover of the sunset to slip in, but it appears there was no need to do so as the island is a ghost town.
“Fufufu…”
A fog consumed the area. He looked around and realised that something was going on. He could sense magic in the air!
“...What the… a witch?”
**THUMB**
A slender hand erupted from his chest as someone stabbed him with a hand.
**Cough!!!**
“W-What…”
“So that’s how it works. Godly might of a Greek God…” A curious voice said as the man’s body was lifted before he was thrown back into the ocean.
“All I need is to gaze at his eyes to pick up memories. This is good. I can easily take out the trash.” The witch said as she looked at her bloodied hand.
With a black and blue glow, her kimono was back to pristine condition.
“...It will take a while until someone challenging will drop on our borders.” She commented as her gaze went back to the city.
She picked another invader.
“...I suppose the pace is picking up.”
Aya started to feel that being on border patrol was becoming a hassle. She decided to let other women take care of some of the newcomers.
“...Oh… what is this?”
She looked in the other direction. Someone just dropped in the airport again.
“Let’s see.”

A black-haired girl in her late teens with light pink eyes, dressed in a black school uniform, removed the parachute as she was dropped from a plane on Itogami Island.
Her gaze scanned the surroundings. She quickly realised that someone was tracking her.
‘It’s worse than we have predicted.’
She looked at the mist surrounding her location.
“Well, well, a priestess. I was wondering when the Bureau of Astrology will poke their nose in.” A woman appeared from a mist. She was dressed in an expensive kimono with long black hair and purple eyes.
“...You are Aya Tokoyogi.” The Priestess knew who she was.
“Sadly, I can’t say the same thing about you.”
The girl opened a guitar case and pulled out a two-pronged spear.
“Regardless, I was sent here to investigate the appearance of a Demonic God. I do not have time with a wanted criminal.”
“Oh? I thought Japan was under my darling’s thumb. It appears there are rebellious elements in it. I don’t mind; I shall purge those.” As she said that, she lifted her hand, and from a sleeve, black flames rushed towards the black-dressed girl.
The spear-wielding girl’s eyes widened as she swiftly dodged the attack.
‘What is with that potency in the attack!?’
She could feel the sheer force behind those flames. This was not a regular witch! Her weapon can copy that attack, but she doubts she can copy its potency!
“You are talented. We might have a use for you.”
With another hand motion, black humanoid flames surrounded the black-haired Priestess.
‘Well, this is not good.’
As she looked around for a second, the girl dropped her weapon and raised her hands in surrender.
“...”
“Do you believe you can live just because you surrender?” Aya asked with a frown, wondering what this girl was thinking.
“My Bureau is not rebelling.” She proclaimed with raised hands.
“...Then why wanted to fight?” The Witch of Notaria asked with a frown.
“I wanted to figure out if it's something made up or if it's true. Your power proves to me that there is someone behind your increase in power.” The girl explained to the witch.
“...Fufufu… This is amusing… I wonder what he will do to you with such a character.”
With a casual hand motion, blue and black chains rushed from portals and chained the girl, squeezing her body form and highlighting her assets.
“...”
The girl blushed a little bit as she felt the squeeze.
“Let’s see how well you fair. He likes girls with attitude.” Aya grinned as she watched how the Priestess was looking at her.
‘I see… well, I can adjust.’
She might show arrogance to the witch, but it will be different when she meets a literal Demon God.
~~~
“Aya.”
Raynor, gazing at the Ocean from a skyscraper, turned around and looked at Aya, who had a girl in chains floating in the air.
“I have found something for you.” The witch motioned the girl in chains.
“...Though…I forgot to ask, what is your name, girl?” The black-haired witch asked the girl, as she had a curious look.
“Kiraha Kisaki, The Six-Blade Priestess of the Bureau of Astrology.” She introduced herself to him. Her eyes were scanning him constantly as she wanted to know if he was truly a Demon God.
So far, all she can see is that he is a handsome man with serious pressure, similar to Aya.
“Oh, and why are you here? Kiraha? Did your leaders send you to see me?” He asked her as he looked back at her with similar intensity.
“...it should be obvious. I am here because of what you did to Lion King’s Organisation and Japan as a whole.” She replied. The girl needed to hold in and not exclaim, ‘Are you serious?’.
This guy is plunging the whole world into chaos, and he is asking why she was here!?
“Oh, that. Well, they got into my path on their own.” He said with a shrug.
“...Breaking her from prison.” Kiraha motioned with her chin at Aya. “Will obviously attract the authorities.” She commented.
“I suppose. But we are not here to discuss my witches. We are here to discuss priestess, so tell me what I should do to you?” He asked her.
“I am from Japan. Your country, no? It should be obvious that I am here to join you.” She smoothly positioned herself as his ‘ally’.
“Oh? Are you?”
Raynor took a few steps forward and walked in front of her. The chains released her, and she landed on the ground elegantly.
“Are you going to accept me? I heard that you took at least one Saint from the Lion King Organisation.” She started to ‘goad’ him into making her into a ‘demon’ as she realised that this weird pressure was that factor.
He and Aya had it, so she was curious about it. It is most likely related to vampirism from the Fourth Progenitor.
“Hahaha. Sure, this world is full of crazy females wanting to sell their souls. Fine, let’s do it.” His eyes gleamed as he grabbed her and bit her neck. It was so fast that Kiraha needed a second to realise what had just happened!
