Before you start szn 4 I think it’s important to note that attack on titans final season is animated by studio mappa rather than studio wit (they animated the first 3 szns) so you might see a slightly different animation style. But other than that, if you thought season 3 was crazy, szn 4 just ramps up the intensity by 100x

Watching this as it aired, I had the benefit of being able to do things like visit reddit episode discussion threads and read hundreds of comments that helped confirm/clarify what I'd seen on a weekly basis. Sir you just gobbled this one up and you absolutely cannot go to the internet! Take some time, let it digest, re-watch some episodes, and I'm excited for your continued confusion in S4 LOLOL.

You may want to revisit 3x20-22 sometime in the future but I think you've got everything down. You know everything you need to know to go into season 4 and roll with the punches. Season 4 is on crunchy roll in its entirety including the finale. The final two episodes are two 60-90 minute movies

take a look at the to be continued screen it’s literally a map showing the island and the sea its been there the whole time

I would recommend watching episode 20 and 21 again. Many of the things that you ask about is revealed in those episodes. Clearly the people inside the walls who knew nothing about the outside world are bad guys in this conflict

a lot of crucial info at the start of season 4, good idea to give your brain a break. I watched the series as it released and watching again through your reactions has made me realize how much i missed or didnt piece together on the first watch

Just advice. Don’t try to figure everything out in your head when watching , I think you’ll actually miss more doing that. Rewatch or recaps are really the only way to get EVERYTHING in this show. Season 3 is amazing but season 4 and the last few episodes are life changing
