Magical Girl Reference (Patreon)

Hi guys! Dropping a quick note here: I know the last two weeks or so have been a bit quiet, what with BronyCAN and all. I've been working on a few extra pictures to put in the Folio, and I'll get that out this week, cause you guys are rockstars. :) I think overall the experiment with "gimme a theme" didn't quite pan out this time for me. WIth all the stuff going on, I just wasn't able to connect with ideas well enough. But that's okay! In the future, I'll probably throw down a poll or something of things that already grab me. Even more interesting information, however, is that I'm beginning the development of a comic! It's going to be visually stunning, so I definitely need more work on my fundamentals, and this Patreon will be fundamental. Once it gets further along and into the actual creation stage, I may point this Patreon instead toward the development of that comic, and you guys can see pages as I make them and so on. (The plan is to release it as a graphic novel, and then go back and put it up as a webcomic, so you'd be essentially getting pages waaaaaaay before anyone else.) Does that appeal to folks? Also there'd still be lots of artwork smooshed on here I'm sure; I draw lots, after all. Also also, here's as much of a pitch as I can currently throw together, since it's still in the "what is my idea" stage: It's an unconventional fantasy story about magical women, dragons, and all sorts of weird crazy magical creatures, that live in a world that lives and breathes magic. The protagonist is the only person she knows of who can't do magic; and since the magic in the world seems to be suddenly dying, she's the one sent out to deal with it. (After all, she already knows how to cope with being useless. (Also unicorns are the biggest assholes ever, in this world. Territorial, arrogant pricks.) Anyway, that's my comic idea; I'll get the folios out by a week from today with extra special bonus art.
