A new scene! Something a little less, uh, painful. Sorta.

I knew that Cur would soon be back in history. He can be mean sometimes, but I like his personality. Parsley doesn't seem too happy with him right now. Hopefully he and Kira can see Jonas.

Hmm. So Cur seems to have abandoned his plan to keep quiet about what happened. Good. (IHMO, him getting any kind of deniability over this would have been very annoying.) Cur has problems. Unfortunately one of his biggest problems is that he 'self medicates' by hurting people. His other big problem seems to be that he probably hasn't felt safe for a long time. (Possibly he finds comfort in the certainty of abandonment?) And all the reassurance in the world seems to only convince him the speaker doesn't yet understand how awful he is... And given he just put two children in hospital as a result of his malice, and they both might die ('might' in universe at least) he is indeed pretty damn awful.

Jonas survives according to the side story "On Thin Ice" and its unlikely Tam will die due to plot armor. It's unlikely Cur will be charged with murder or shipped off to Abroad given he's still just a kid. Out of all the kits, I find him to be the most interesting. He's this emotionally damaged and confused bully who is in dire need of help yet pushes others away. If you look at his first appearences before his speaking role, its implied that he drinks alcohol despite being a preteen in human years. He seems to get along well with the town chaplain, Vessie. I think Vessie will be key to helping him soften up a bit.
