Change to Patreon Sponsorships and Nickname Credits (Patreon)

Hello once again, patrons! Ari here!

As you may know, we display Patron names on the Tamberlane website: on the front page for those who have given extraordinary support, and on the individual comic pages for those at or above the $15 sponsorship tier. As part of the Patreon overhaul, we will be changing the way we credit Patrons.

Up until now, Patrons have been given credit based on the nickname they provide in the separately made nickname form. While this was a decent system for a while, we realized that it makes more sense to credit based on the names provided by Patreon directly. So from now on, your credit on the official Tamberlane site will be your current Patreon display name.

If you want to check your name and/or change it, here are the steps:

• Log into Patreon 
• Make sure you’re logged in as a “Patron” and not a “Creator”, if relevant
• Go to your Settings page
• Change/View your Display name at the top of the default page

We will also be changing the comic page Sponsorship tier to $25 as part of the revamp, as the $15 tier will become defunct. This will have no impact on the front-page Special Thanks credit.
