Hmmm...

Thanks to Chaon for Cur's cameo and thanks to Lauren Pierre for flatting this!

Director's Commentary

As usual, as communication breaks down, the panel layout does too. I tried to have the panels feel a little like breaking glass as some form of the status quo shatters. In addition, her head in panel 6 emerges from the panel itself as she strains to land a punch, but her fist is held stationary in the other half of the panel. Tamberlane's not a violent or angry kid so this is very notable.

In addition, the last panel is *severely* anticlimactic on purpose, overlapping the chaos with a normal rectangular panel, with much more emotional distance via physical distance: no longer any close-ups, but a full body pose that is extremely unthreatening and off-kilter as she's literally swept off her feet.

I think I would alter the balloon positioning in panel 6 because as it is, it kind of cuts off the fist and that should have more focus.

Somehow I think there is something more going on here. "You don't hurt creatures". Doesn't sound like something needed to be said by the folks there. I think this wrath of hers has to do with her past.
