Hello all! Wow, it's like I just wrote the February Newsletter two weeks ago or so! Imagine that!

I'm going to try to keep this newsletter a little less rambly. I sure like to talk in these things, lol!

Tales from Treehollow

As some of y'all have noted, neither February's nor March's comics have been delivered! Work is wrapping up on Tainted hopefully soon. Minty's got the backgrounds left to do! And since Izzy's been diving into some very intensive work on Mothorial, I've let her extend her deadline a bit as well.

She's got 2 pages completed, and the other 3 are penciled. In addition, Scott's working on April's comic, the Wild Walligog!

He's in the middle of moving right now, to a house that turned out to need *way* more cleaning than had been expected. So there may be a delay there!

And finally, Lauren is working on the June comic:

and Knack is starting work on May's comic, but I don't have any progress to share on that.

The long and short of it is a lot of work is being done, and though I apologize they haven't been delivered yet, there's so much great stuff on the way. So thank you for your patience! I promise they'll be delivered ASAP!

In the meantime, Meta's written a short story that happens immediately before Tainted, and I did a couple of illustrations for it. After I finish this newsletter, I'll be delivering it to the Tainted folks in their Patreon Messages.

I've spent a lot of time trying to decide if there's a better way to do the Tales from Treehollow rewards. I haven't come up with a better solution yet that allows the artists leeway, delivers on time to you guys, and maintains a promotional schedule. It's a work in progress!

Health

Who's got two thumbs and the first shot of the Moderna Covid vaccine? This gal :D

For those who are anxious about the shot, they didn't grill me or ask questions about my eligibility (I was eligible, but I know others had anxiety like I did about having to Prove It). I didn't get any side effects except for maybe some tiredness the first day? But it's hard to tell what's fibromyalgia reacting versus genuine side effects. After that, my arm got sore about 10 hours after the shot, and stayed sore for a couple of days. That's it though!

I did, however, have a lot of unrelated fatigue this month, so there were a couple of weeks where I just couldn't do a whole lot. Which is a big ol' bummer. But eh, you work with what you've got!

Stickers

My obsession with drawing telegram stickers continues. This seems to be how I wind down over the weekend or during D&D lately! As always, you are free to add them to your own telegram.

Patreon Update

Since the Patreon updated last month/early this month/what is time, I did a little sprucing up for the front page of the Patreon, as well as the new Reward Index

You can see the changes to the Index and reward fulfillment in this post here.

Hope is meanwhile going back and adding the new tags to old posts. Thank you, Hope!

Well that’s good you got your first dose, California is vaccinating the disabled and caregivers, my dad and I get are 2nd dose on April 15th

Carl G Knoblock

Just got my first yesterday. A little arm soreness, and a slight fever last night, but nothing else so far. I was expecting Moderna, and got Pfizer, and already had my second schedule for 4 weeks. I could have gotten my second Pfizer in 3, but 4 is OK, and changing it would be a hassle. In another couple of months, I may be able to get together with friends and family again. It has been a very long year.

Moonrabbit55

I got Moderna, and since I live in. California, are department of disabilities is Alta regional. After the first dose gets 10 days to kick in, then you’re half immune

fox3379

got 1st Moderna shot March 24th after a couple months of getting the runaround from my county's health dept, cause the tier I was in wasn't open yet(under 65) though I was in one of the high risk groups cause of my COPD(non smoker, born premature, nuff said) sore injection site for a few days and feeling "bleugh" on the day after, kinda worried about 2nd shot making me feel worse.

Moonrabbit55

Well it’s good to hear that the other countries besides just the US is working on getting everyone besides just the elderly, veterans, and homeless as fast as possible

Carl G Knoblock

Several US states have opened up for everyone, including Iowa. I haven't really paid attention to Nebraska after I signed up, but I know they have more vaccination sites and opened up to more groups. Some places have turned away people without ID or insurance, even though the law says everyone will get vaccinated at no charge. Leaving any group out of the program will weaken the effectiveness, even the anti-vaxer group.

Moonrabbit55

I get that, Californias governor Gavin Newsom has more on his shoulders with all these people breathing at his neck for a straight answer. Least I can get a break from seeing recall Gavin propaganda

fox3379

I'm from the US actually^^

Citizenrob

Oh wow. The very first character I used for this Patreon, "Vessie" is in the 'Where We Belong" short story. Cute story. Thanks Caytlin. :3

fox3379

yes very nice story, getting more into Cur's backstory, perhapes he might do a "heel-face turn" as they say in wrestling jargon?

Moonrabbit55

I’m sad to say this, but when Cur said that his they’ll get rid of him, it reminded me how my mother would threaten me that she would put me in a foster home if I wouldn’t behave
