How to Watch Today's Fundraising Stream (Patreon)

Hey all! As mentioned in this post, I'm doing some Pay What You Want sketches to help Izzy out. Here's all the information you need to know to log in and watch!

When: 10am PST - ~2pm PST (with at least a 30 minute break for lunch)

Where: The Foxglove Comics Discord: creator-streams channel

How: If you haven't joined the Discord yet, do so by clicking the link above. Make sure you read the rules and accept the bat pact!

When I go live at 10am, I will announce in #whats-live that I'm streaming, and I will be pinging @T: Streams, so if you want a ping, make sure to add the @T: Streams role in #roles.

At that point, you'll want to join the creator-streams voice channel. This stream will be silent, so don't worry about it being a voice channel if you don't want to talk -- no one can talk! 

All chatting will be done via text on #voice-chat-text. And you don't have to donate to the stream to watch. You can just watch for fun!

If you do want to get a commission through the stream, then you'll find the form in #foxglove-announcements. Just follow the directions on the form and you're good to go!

Watching Streams on Discord

When I start streaming, click on creator-streams to join the channel. You can then double-click my name in the participants list to watch my stream!

When Izzy, or perhaps other artists(!), join to stream as well, you can hover your mouse over the stream window. At the top of the window will be the streamer's name, as well as an icon made of squares, and a "..." menu.

To Watch Other Streams, click the squares icon to change between grid, focus, and single streamer.

To ONLY Watch Streamers, which you're going to want to do, click the "..." menu and select "Hide Non-Video Participants". That will get rid of the blank streams of all the people just watching.
