Comic Studies 1 (Patreon)

So for the last month or so I've been working on the bare bones of my comic in earnest: worldbuilding, clawing my way through a 0th draft, getting character concepts done, fleshing out characters, etc. Very little of it is ready to see the light of day and it's constantly evolving, and as a result of both that and my hammering away at TSSSF, I haven't had a lot to show for this Patreon recently. Sorry about that! This Patreon going to get restructured soon into focusing mainly on the comic, and probably the reward tiers will reduce significantly in what you get in return beyond watching the development process. Writing a comic is still really new territory for me so I'm kinda nervous, haha; but I think it'll be pretty cool. Anyway, in the meantime, have some art! The character of Ben was previously noted as being some kind of dragon companion to the main character Aika; but I realized that one of the pieces of lore I was fondest of -- unicorns being territorial assholes -- wasn't being showcased enough. Moreover, Ben as she was working in the comic wasn't working at all. I rarely remember to write dialogue for her and she's just kinda /there/, which is entirely not what I want to happen. So Ben has changed into a Belgian Heavy Horse unicorn to be a fabulous asshole. :3
