Some notes on composition:

I moved the two away from each other for the second wide panel to show the uncomfortable emotional distance. There's clearly some discomfort here.

However, the next panel has a close up on Milo to show that he's more emotionally open (a closer panel like that emphasizes the face, which is an instant emotional connection with the viewer. The closer you are, the more you feel like you're in their "bubble") so the discomfort is on Oake's side.

Meanwhile the peanut gallery is all at middle distance which sort of makes the viewer casually feel like they're a part of the group. It's inviting without being too emotionally close.
