Great stuff. A holy grail of mine is to find some pictures of the Brens used by the US in the Philippines. There was a shipment of Brens or Universal Carriers that were being sent to Hong Kong via Manila. When the Japanese started the war the US got permission to take over these vehicles and use them in the defense of the Philippines. IIRC, the Provisional Tank Group and the 26th Cavalry (PS) used them. One modification they made was to install US M1917s or M2HBs on the things. They pop up in the official Army history and in some of the writings about these two units.
