Some updated versions of older graphics with better sourcing and visuals. They're the East German Mot-Schuetzengruppe (late 1970s/early 1980s and late 1980s versions) and the Soviet Airborne Squad (VDV) when mounted on BMD infantry fighting vehicles. The Mot-Schuetzengruppe were the equivalent to Soviet Motor Rifles or West German Panzergrenadiere.

Pretty similar at the end of the day, with a mounted crew and dismounted element (Squad Leader filling the vehicle commander seat as well as dismounting), an RPG, LAWs depending on the era, and 1-2 RPKs. It should be noted that even after adopting a domestically produced version of the AK-74 in 5.45, the East Germans continued using the RPK light machine gun in 7.62 due to not having the machining to produce the longer barreled RPK domestically. They were working on a shorter barreled LMG solution in 5.45, the lMG-K-500, before the Cold War ended.
