In this world, the gladiator games have remained as popular as they ever were. Giving people a distraction from their lives in the form of violent entertainment. And for those brave or desperate enough to willingly step into the arena, a chance to claw their way out of poverty and destitution.   

You're a hot headed thief from one of the poorest regions of the lands, where children are starving in the streets and people are killed for less than a bite of bread. You always made it your mission to do what you can to take care of your people. Along with your partner, you're in the business of illegally obtaining goods and reselling or trading them for prices people can actually afford. But, times are getting rough and it's become even more dangerous to carry out your black market operations. So you decided to leave your partner and your region to sign up for the games. You decided to become a gladiator. But will your efforts be worth it?
