I'm officially 75% of the way finished with Cicada Springs!

Part of me getting this game to where I want it to be involves a lot of simple features that I'm finally just now able to implement. The good news is that, with these getting closer and closer to where I wanted them in the first place, there's less work standing between me and the storylines and endings, which are the final step in this game.

The bad news is that putting in new mechanics means that I've got a lot more to bug test lol.

There will now be a 5-slotted inventory system, accessible through the Backpack icon in the now-collapsible menu. The "big" backpack will get cleaned up lol, don't worry. Giving and taking out of these slots has been tested extensively, but there are still some small improvements that need to be made before this part of the update can be considered finished.

In addition, I'm toying with the idea of moving all of the character dialogues to the example shown - basically focusing more on their face, allowing me to pan down for emphasis where need be in dialogue. If that's something that I can handle in Notepad++, then it'll be done by next update hopefully. If not, then I'll have to think reeeaaally hard about how I want to handle it, if I want to at all lol.
