I asked y'all for guided writing plots, and y'all delivered!

A few of them I liked, but didn't choose because they too closely resemble other projects that I have coming up.

Listed here are three of my favorites, one proposed by me, and two proposed by other patrons. A little further down, after the story descriptions, is a link to a strawpoll where you can vote on whichever story gets the Guided Writing treatment. The Guided Writing exercise won't be in play until after Melva's Magical Mass has concluded.

Make sure to read through the descriptions and select the story that you feel you'd like to read the most!

Nat & the Book of Fat—

Times are hard. When Nat said that she wanted to move out of her parents’ place, she had no idea that it would take three people living in this dumpy old rental in order to make end’s meet. Her and her roomies are ready to pull each other’s hair out! But when Nat goes spelunking in their rental house’s attic, she finds a mysterious old book that could definitely… uh… not help, but…

Well, it’ll definitely make things interesting around here, that much is for certain!

Cameron’s Not Crazy—

Cameron is something of a conspiracy theorist. But she’s not stupid. She knows that there’s something weird going on around town. There have always been a lot of heavy people around (that’s what you get when you live in the South) but lately she’s noticed that the average weight of the townsfolk has gone up and up and up… even she’s not immune to it!

Maybe it’s drugs? Maybe it’s a government cover-up? Maybe… it’s just tasty!

An Acceptance of Size—

Helena, who has recently put on a significant amount of weight, finds a network of fat women who support each other and socialize together. Our protagonist also begins to suspect that they aren't very receptive to letting anyone in the group lose weight. In her mind, this is a story about Helena finding a support groups so that she can ultimate lose weight, but her new friends aren’t exactly keen to let that happen…

Are they merely excessively bad influences, diet saboteurs, or is there something more sinister afoot?
