Okay! So the past few weeks have been pretty exhausting. But after being forced to scrap the VNMaker version of this game, I've been able to successfully implement everything that was there in that first demo into a top-down RPG via RPGMaker MZ.

Oh yeah, we've moved up to the big boys now lol.

Anyway - below is a link to the post with a playable demo for y'all. The best part about this is that I can still use the full-body portraits drawn by WeightComicGuy, as well as the food icons that I drew myself, plus a whole slew of other custom graphics that I got to import!

Next month will just be a refining of this demo, making Cicada Springs feel more alive. Putting in non-portraited NPCs to sort of guide the main character, as well as making minor adjustments to things like implementing the beginnings of Alex's Study Buddy sidequest or Clover's Secret sidequest.

There will be a few polls posted tomorrow about how y'all would like for me to handle these sorts of things - but for now, just enjoy the definitive face of this next game that's been slowly killing me for 3 months!

As always, feel free to post bugs in the comments below. I know about the one with the gate just outside of the apartment. But everything else should be fair game to report.

With this, there's also the added news of me now being able to port reliably for Mac products! This means that any work I do for this, CoC, or any other projects should be able to run on Apple computers in the future!
