Selena Infierno was born Selena Joseph, but married one Paolo Infierno and they birthed Joaquin Infierno. They named their first child after his grandfather due to the respect Paolo had for Joaquin the 1st.

You'll see shit play out in the final chapter of the original Joaquin and Super-Nova in the returning Boobgirl the Webcomic. It leads into Boobgirl Forever.
