It was a long, hard day for Joaquin Joseph. He'd dealt with so much that nearly broke his will from interviews going awry to dealing with personal issues like being nagged at by everybody he cared about from Ophelia to Clara. He just couldn't catch a break. He'd finally reach his breaking point when he got yelled at by Nova, who unknowingly got on his nerves by constantly demanding his presence. Finally, he made it back to his home, where his stepmother Cora usually was.

The very thought of Cora and the things she did to him as a child turned his stomach. It warped his brain to the point that he couldn't have a normal relationship with anybody and was forced to grow up far too soon, robbing him of a true childhood. He never knew his mother and he'd lost his father as a result of his stepmother's doing. He fell onto the floor and began tearing up, shivering from loneliness. Suddenly, he passed out in a puddle of his own tears. When he came to, he was surrounded by clouds in a bright, sunny sky. He got up and reached out, seeing his hand, taken aback by it's youthful appearance.

He then felt his cheeks and the rest of his face and realized he was a kid again, no younger than 12. Another thing he realized was that he'd no memory of any of the abuse he'd suffered at Cora's hands. At that moment, he heard footsteps closing in. He turned as if ready to attack, but the sight he beheld was something he never thought he'd see in his entire life.

Two figures walked towards him, hand in hand, calling him by name. As they got closer, young Joaquin began tearing up. He could make out the man in a suit with slicked back hair and a neatly trimmed moustache. The other figure remained a mystery, but he could make out a feminine figure. Rather than focusing on her, he ran towards the person he assumed to be his father as tears rolled down his cheeks. Suddenly, the female figure revealed herself as a young woman, looking no older than 35, wearing a flowy, white sundress, with full lips and dark brown hair.

“Joaquin, I'm so happy to see you again,” spoke the man. It was Joaquin's father, Paolo.

“D-dad...” sobbed Joaquin as he reached out to him.

“Son, there's someone I want you to meet. You've never known her, but she was the love of my life. I've been reunited with her for years. Meet your mother, Selena.” said Paolo as Selena cuddled up to him.
Joaquin reached out to his parents and ran towards them, crying hysterically as the parents embraced their child.

“We are so proud of you,” said Selena in an angelic voice.

“We love you, son,” said Paolo in a shaky voice as he held his son for the first time in forever.

Joaquin just cried of happiness as the tears streamed down his face.

 “Mom! Dad!”

The three hugged for as long as possible. Suddenly, Joaquin woke up to see Ophelia, Nova, and Clara by his bedside. They had found him and put him in bed and remained there, making sure he was ok. All he could do was smile as he hugged the three women in front of him.
