I turned off patreon payments for august (Patreon)

I am taking a break for one month. 

I have been working myself dizzy, and my productivity reached crawling speeds (see this months half finished exclusive). I think I pushed myself too far! though my mood is still high, my energy is nonexistant. I will take a break to recoup and get refreshed.

though knowing me, I never sit still, I will still be creative. but you can expect me to fully return september to sketch more pages of "on full display"

some non-important details:

what I think is happening; the exclusives are just too close together for me to spend crunch time on each of them. the problem with having 12 months in a year and doing a monthly project on each. there's no flexibility. I would like to extend months so they are 6 weeks, but patreon pays per month no matter what. another option would be to scale down the projects, but you cant tell a story in less pages. I have been thinking of solutions, but those will have to wait till I have a clearer mind. 

right now I will just accept that I sometimes need a vacation, jobs in the netherlands gives 30-60 days a year, I might as well keep to those rules X) with the added luxury that I don't have to plan them a year ahead of time.

I also know people will tell me to keep payment going while I'm away. but I cannot in clear consciousness do that. you all are so generous that I can afford to skip a few months. and though I have no issue with getting paid for my work, if I don't do the work, it feels absolutely wrong.
