Cerseis obsession with the prophecies is also a big part of her character and why she didn’t like Sansa and Margery. Also plays into how she doesn’t want her children to die and in the books another part of the prophecy was added how when her tears will have drown her the volaquar shall wrap his hands around your pale throat and choke the life from you. Which in Valyrian is little brother so that’s another reason why she hates Tyrion but at the end of the day she causes the prophecy to be full filled due to her actions and paranoia
